Do the Santa skeptics in this thread have any explanation for why families that believe in Santa are more likely to receive presents on Christmas?

Do the Santa skeptics in this thread have any explanation for why families that believe in Santa are more likely to receive presents on Christmas?

Because the parents who tell their kids that Santa is real are almost certain to celebrate Christmas, but among the families that don't tell their kids that Santa is real are devout Jews and others who don't celebrate the holiday?

Exactly, so those who don't believe in Santa don't receive his gifts, whereas those who accept him into their heart report millions of instances of toys appearing overnight beneath their trees. This is a proven fact.

I wish I could believe these were low quality drunk posts, but as I recall you just drink milk, lol.

I have milk with cookies every night like the good lord Claus intended.

Where do Santa-thumpers think Hanukkah presents come from? Asantaists get eight days of presents while Santaists on get one. Checkmate, Santaists.

That is a false gift-giving religion because their parents just buy their presents for them. Their gifts come from other family members, whereas mine are delivered down the chimney by an omniscient immortal being who lives above us all. It's so obvious; why can't they see?

Well I’m convinced. This brilliant reasoning has turned me to atheism and its fruits. I mean, Santa=God is so obviously proof, soon there will be no theists left in the world!

Reported for religious discrimination. Santa has nothing-- repeat, NOTHING-- in common with heretical belief systems like the Christian God. Santa is an immortal, omnipotent, benevolent, omniscient ruler from above who watches over all of us, judges us, punishes the bad and rewards the good. His wisdom keeps us all in line and prevents us from doing bad deeds. Again, there is NOTHING in common between the two.

As an atheist, this is embarrassing.

I was optimistic that internet atheism had moved beyond idle fedora-tipping, but for some reason it seems to be coming back into vogue.

Yeah, there's a lot of cringey Santa skeptics in here who seem hell-bent (no pun intended) on being intolerant of my perfectly legitimate beliefs. I don't know why they can't keep their neckbeard denialism to themselves. Oh well. At least they're stuck in their parents' basements, whereas I, an enlightened freethinker and avid Santaist, am unchained from such delusions.
