Not saying people should always have such dramatic shifts, but if someone views the world in the exact same way after having almost 6 years full of important life experiences there's a good chance they're pretty dense!

If this is true, I guess I must be made of lead, mercury, osmium or some other super dense material given I hold roughly the same views as a 22 year old that I've held my entire life Tongue (there are only a small handful of positions I've changed and even those are super minuscule and in unimportant issues)

I'm not reading all the posts in this thread but it is remarkable that the titans of Atlas Forum IRC apparently continue to exert such a powerful psychic hold on people years after its death.

Presumably if Atlasia still exists in another decade there'll be some longtime posters still going on about events in the Dis Cord server that took place seven years prior.

I'm so glad I have a legacy!

e: It's unclear to me why there's any debate over Leinad apparently being a communist (!) now. He was, if I recall correctly, a libertarian and socialism is clearly the libertarianism of the 2020s insofar as Forum trends go (much the same demographics and personality types).

I am a historian by passion, a politician by necessity.

I prefer seeing it as more of a "History is written by the winners" kind of deal Tongue
