I ran on partly on expanding transportation infrastructure and I feel that high speed trains are a cool way to move people around the country. So i'll support sevens bill!

I'd like to see high speed trains that can go 300 mph moving our food and consumer products across the country! Smiley

To my knowledge there are no 300 mph trains working anywhere yet (300 km/h is common, but not mph lol)

Also high speed rail tends to be used mostly if not exclusively for passengers, not freight, though on paper there should not be any reason why they can't transport freight

For what is worth, I see people here are complaining about stations on places like Texarkana TX; with a population of 36k people.

However, for what is worth Spain irl built an HSR station in a town of a whopping 961 people (Tardienta); and is considering whether or not to build one on a town of a whopping 26 people (Puebla de Sanabria) Tongue

Although I will say that those stations were and are a bad idea (and so is probably extending the line that far). Guess we'll have to "fix" that in the Senate
