Alexandria Ocaiso Cortez announces her Presidential run in her hometown of Bronx New York

(Image is from Popsugar)

*AOC walks up to the podium*
Several years ago I went here in front of a small crowd to announce that I would be running a long shot run for Congress. They didn’t think that I could beat in a primary one of the top house Democrats at the time but they were wrong!  Since then I have been out there in Washington as one of the most respected and highly rated progressive lawmakers and been behind some of the progressive victories of the Biden Admistration! And that is why I am declaring a run for the Democratic nomination of President of the United States!  *Crowd cheers*

We need someone in this Whitehouse to give what the people need.  Medicare for all, a federal jobs guarantee, a Green New Deal, free college and trade school and housing for all and I am that person *The crowd cheers again*

Congresswoman Cortez’s speech on her economic policy

(Credit to Splinter News)

We need a green revolution in this country. And it’s a shame that the GOP in Washington wants to red bait and called it communism when it is popular with many Americans including some Republicans.

Our planet is in a crisis and we got to protect before things go to bad by 2040 which means promising a “Green New Deal for all” a plan that would give all Americans a guaranteed jobs,Medicare for all which will give Medicare to all Americans no matter what age and income and free college or trade school and invest money that are used on endless wars on green and solar energy for the future. As I will give tax credits to middle and working class people who want to start and get ahead in the business.

The rich will finally pay their fair share and paid their taxes and I will stop the end to all special tax breaks to corporations and make also sure that companies like Amazon and Facebook pay their fair share. *Crowd cheers and yells AOC*

AOC debate answers part 1

1.Well people remember that I have helped with President Biden on many issues during his presidency like the public option and the infrastructure plans he has passed and as president I wanna improve on that and I think it’s a good start. Recent numbers have shown that Democrats and independents want to more forward for progressive ideas and have it as the mainstay of the party.

And I think I am the best candidate forward to move with those ideas I am not trying to fight with the Democratic Party and I just wanna fight for my children’s future,my grandchildren’s future and my great grandchildren’s futures and so on and so forth!

2.The Green New Deal should be a bipartisan issue the majority of Democrats and Independents and even some Republicans all agree that there should a new deal like legislation that will help create a healthy safe economy for not just years to come but decades.

We should not play politics when it comes to this this bill is about the future and their lives and we wanna made theories future ro be great like my grandparents have told me.

What AOC did part 1

Congresswoman Cortez campaigned in Iowa and New Hampshire on buliding a “green future” including plans to rebuild infrastructure and to make the economy more *eco friendly*.

She also talked about her plans for “responsible spending” and how she will reduce military spending and take that money and invest it social security once again infrastructure education and of course healthcare.

AOC debate answers part 3

Q:The Democrats are holding on to threadbare majorities in both Congressional houses, and face a daunting Senate map with multiple defensive struggles upcoming in Montana, Arizona, and Wisconsin, among others. How will you, as the leader of the ticket, ensure that Democrats can keep hold of the House and Senate in 2024 and beyond?

A:We need to nominate and keep fighting for the working class members and voters.  That is why in 2016 we lost and in 2020 we were able to win.  We need to be able to reestablish that we are the party of the middle and working class.

We need to nominate more candidates that have backgrounds of ordinary people and not of wealthy donors.   That of a waitress at your favorite diner or of a driver of your local FedEx officer not a children or relative of someone wealthy like a certain someone in the GOP race!!

And as the leader of this party I will fight for that message!
