Because muslims are mostly socially conservative, a perfect fit for the GOP.

This is true in general but we are in special times now (hence why most muslims vote overwhelmingly democrat as opposed to just 20 years ago or so)

A true hot take from a secular perspective is that pork was still eatable for a non medicinal reason and giving different foods to this person because of some "imaginary" being they believe in lies contrary to a secular government. For example see medical vs religious exemptions for vaccinations.

If this was a supermax for criminals or some sh.t like that I might be more receptive, but for any other case, no.
