Thanks man, I'm ok, but so much of the community around is wrecked, it missed my house by about 3/4's of a mile.

An update on my life since I've moved back from Tallahassee:

Today I had to help my dad move several tires that one of our scumbag tenants abandoned after he quit paying the rent. Fortunately, they're worth a lot of money, and we're putting liens on a few of his trucks that he's abandoned here for months to get back the money were owed. Considering my dad's 40+ year career in heavy equipment, we're looking at a nice windfall. The tires themselves were three times my weight, which made for a brutal and grueling day, but hey, it's worth it. I'm covered in dirt, I smell like ass, and I'm tired, but tomorrow is going to be a nice easy office day.

As Vice President of the company (it's easy to be VP when you're the only employee), I'm making a good deal of money for a 23 year old. Keep in mind, all I really do is pick up trash and collect checks/cash from tenants. Physically demanding days like today are actually quite rare for me. My goal for 2020 is to learn more of the mechanical aspects of the job (like operating the forklift so I can move semitrailers) in order to help my dad ease himself into semi-retirement.

Considering the fact that six months ago I was considering suicide over the fact that I was being forced to suspend my education to work for my dad....well, holy crap am I glad I didn't do it. This is the best job ever! The business literally runs itself and we work only four-five hours a day most days. I work 9-1:30ish on cleaning up the yard, collecting outstanding rent (if any exists), or just making sure that the hood riff-raft aren't milling about the property.

I honestly can't believe I wasted eight years of my life wanting to be a political operative when I could have done this all along! But then again, I'd have never gone to Tally in that scenario, which means I'd never have made the friends I made or had the opportunity to drop acid on any given Thursday night for three years. Plus I literally met Trump. That was cool too.

What we do is sorta threefold:

1. My dad owns an entire block of industrially zoned land, which he's slowly put together piece by piece since 1989. We primarily rent out the bulk of it to a semi-truck bodyshop/detailer who is widely known and respected for his work across South Florida, yet he somehow can't seem to pay the $6,000 a week rent half the time. There is also a small truck rental chain that occupies the tiny corner lot, and I like to go hang out with those guys because they're funny as hell and like to party.

2. Truck Parking. We rent spaces to over the road truckers to store their rigs for $350 a month. Most places like this charge $15 a night for this, so we're constantly booked up. That being said, I don't like my dad's idea to covert the place into a full on Truck Stop. The local infrastructure can't support it, the construction will be costly and take years, and we'd need to dramatically expand rapidly in order to do so. I really hope he keeps that in his mind as a fantasy, where it belongs. I'm not competent enough to run that sorta enterprise after he's gone. But he's the boss so whatever.

3. Heavy Equipment sales. My dad buys and sells a lot of dump trucks, etc, most of which go overseas to Haiti. He does this for fun, and I have no interest or involvement in this side of the business. He spent his whole day working on and under a dump truck himself while I dealt with the 20 or so tires, and I considered myself the lucky one. But he just loves trucks. As long as he breaks even, which he *almost* always does, then I see no harm in it. I don't think I'll continue that when I take the reins.

Just today I had the realization that I'll likely die a small-scale millionaire, which came with a strange mixture of joy and guilt. On one hand, it's all being handed down to me, which denies me the dignity of having earned my money. But imagine what I can do if I just keep this up for like, 40 or so years? I can literally ensure that my autistic youngest brother is totally cared for throughout my life. My biggest question, which has haunted me my whole life, effectively was answered today.

Oh and I'm going to start Ketamine Infusion therapy tomorrow too, which means that my depression (hopefully) will fade away with all of my insecurities about the future. Life is.....actually good right now. Hell, even my other brother is clean and sober for once. I have literally nothing to complain about, aside from having to deal with Boca drivers midway through my daily commute.

Nice, my dad had a small tech gig and he and his buddies got bought out, and he had some other ideas and wanted to use some of what he got to do another small startup for me and work with me and then hand it down as something that I could have, but then he realized I’m stupid and barely even know how to login to a computer lol. So yeah haha

I don't understand people with dual loyalty to the dumps their families came from, they left for a reason. Sympathies and favoritism I can understand but never over America, coming across this article that partially took place in my family village there rebrought limelight to that feeling for me again.

All you need to do is hop on a tractor and then you will be really  Purple heart #populist

And ofc double my weight and select an American tractor like a John Deere and not one of them Mahindra's like the fam back in Punjab used. Other than that, I appear white enough to do the #populist wardrobe.

@Bagel23: you're taller than I expected and that Jon Tester outfit seems to fit you well, I recommend rocking it in college to attract the ladies

Anyway guys, as an Internet addict who keeps finding my way back, here are my last predictions. You can make fun of me if they end up being wrong.

Virginia House and Senate: will go D (I won't even bother researching the exact races in order to predict how much)

Louisiana: Rispone 51.5%, JBE 48.5%; however a JBE 50.1%, Rispone 49.9% result or something along those lines is decently possible; you could say it's between Lean R and Tilt R.

Kentucky: Bevin 51%, Beshear 47%, Libertarian 2%. However, there's a small chance for a Beshear 48.2%, Bevin 48.1%, Libertarian 3.7% style victory. You can say it's Lean R.

Mississippi: Hood can't seem to get beyond 45% in the Hickman Analytics(D) polls, ergo I rate it Likely R, possibly Safe. I predict a result similar to the 2018 MS-SEN Special race between Hyde-Smith and Espy. If you factor in that gubernatorial races can be less partisan, you can predict that Hood can mayyybe get up to 48%. I'd still predict something like 50% Reeves, 48% Hood, 2% Third Party. There exists the possibility that it'll be something more like 54% Reeves, 45% Hood, 1% Third Party. And you could even argue that it's possible that Hood will get less than 45%.

Right now the likeliest option for me is something like 53% Reeves, 46% Hood, 1%Third Party.

Edit: by the way I'll do my best not to pop in again until the Iowa Caucus results. Again, normally my 'internet addiction' wouldn't be a problem if I was content to have a regular life, but I yearn for something far more ambitious.

Edit2: Also my hot take for the Iowa Caucus this far out is that there is a decently greater chance of Warren+Buttigieg being in the Top 2 than Bernie+Biden being in the Top 2. Again, I don't have faith in those geezers.

Lol dude thanks but I'm wanting to remain solo forever, and also I'm only like 5'10, it must just be the hair or shoes or cropping or camera angle etc.

Tbh a lot of what people whine about in college is petty and dumb.

People are like oh the parking is so bad, it takes forever to find a spot.

Nah fam. There is plenty of parking further out. I have never had to look for more than like 4 minutes ever before. usually I can find a spot withing a few seconds. It's just you people are too lazy to move ur fat@$$e$ and park out further and walk more. Consider it a good thing. Most of you people need it. The enrollment is like 30k people, and yet I only see the same 200-300 people at the gym all the time.

The napkins are always out in the generally sitting areas, blah blah blah.

Boohoo. Raid the starbucks that is stocked with them literally 20 feet away in the same building.

The cafeteria food makes me sick and this fry is longer than my fork Sad

Don't touch the ultra weird and nasty stuff, and use your common sense. Don't eat raw things out in the open, get commonly consumed items. There are plenty of good choices. Following this basic logic, I have not had any issues so far. And srsly? Ur whining about a glorious fried stick of potato because it's too big? Get a grip lol.

Ugh, sometimes it feels like I still go to pre-k with so many whiners.

If JBE wins Imma jump in there.

itll be like 47 degrees here by midnight eastern time and there was not much sun today as you can see so it will be cold. I really don't wanna have to jump in there lol.

I usually would wear a shirt but this time I wont, because i dont need the cold thing sticking to me as i get out of the pool and struggle to take it off for a minute. Literally just going in for a 10 second dunk and then running to the shower.

So I have already just gotten down to it and I am exposing myself to cold water to acclimate myself so I hopefully don't get cold shock and drown. But I am ready JBE,

 win this thing!

*Sidenote, I definitely wasnt thinking through this when I decided to do it, but it's too late to turn back now, unless ofc Rispone wins.

We did it ppl! My dad tried to stop me but ended up filming it lol.

Was 47 degrees and my lungs felt like they froze, I am fine though. Hyperventilated for a couple mins afterwards and was so cold and ran to the shower where warm water had a tinglish hurt for like 5-10 mins before I felt back to normal. Word is word though. And JBE won!
