Based on 2010 census, not the best, and somewhat gerrymandered, but I think it is much better than the current map. What do you think?

I wanted to include the substantial black areas of Gulfport-Biloxi.

Or you could draw two Black majority districts without creating Rorschach's Salamander. (from Daily Kos)

But those are barely blue, with mine you get one solid blue and the other tilt blue. These are both just slight blues.

The Gulfport-Biloxi-Pascagoula Metropolitan Area (Jackson, Hancock, Harrison) is only 19.8% Black and 70.5% White. There is no substantial black population to speak of.

That is still like around 50k people.

Only 16 counties are more White than Gulfport-Biloxi.

But the Gulfport Biloxi counties are significally larger than most of those other places.

But there is still no reason for a Black VRA seat to venture into them.

Yeah, I will admit, it is pretty egregious.

Then why do it when you don't have to?

I wanted to make the district bluer, and I did not see any other options that looked as good at the time.

Is that actually a lot of tabs, because if so then I probably have a problem given I have three more windows with just as many tabs open, as well as 3 Safari windows, each with DRA loaded to a different state, (Texas, Mississippi, Michigan)

Yeah, I have one browser with 5 tabs and that is more than I usually have.
