What country is he talking about? The "furthest left elements of the Dem party" have been completely abandoned in an attempt to please people who don't want any kind of compromise and who represent a clear MINORITY of Americans.
Why is it so hard to find even one or two elected politicians who don't buy into the absurd conventional wisdom that states that the left of the Democratic Party can always be taken for granted and that they always turn out to vote? I guess it's totally impossible to imagine that some people might disapprove of Obama because he's a pussy who gives Republicans everything they want in an attempt to appear transcendent and post-partisan. Why does every single person in the media and in national politics think that everyone who disapproves of him hates him because he's a far-left America-hating socialist?
