Except in this thread, I've never heard of enchilada casselore. I've certainly never tried such a thing. So, maybe I'm just ignorant, but it sounds so fundamentally wrong. How does one digest something like that?

We could politely ask Inks to consolidate his rebuttals into one post. He has a habit of making several posts at once when he takes issue with what people have said. Cutting and pasting the quotes isn't that hard.

What's the plan for JJ next time you get one of those giant hail and tornado storms?

Changing the subject - again.  Lief, I am still a registered Democrat, but I think the country will be ready for the Republicans to take over January 2017.
Any particular reason? Do you think they have better ideas or that their ideas better fit where the country will be in 2016?

I think its the natural ebb and flow of the country.  After 12 years of Republican leadership (Reagan and Bush), the country was ready for Clinton.  After 8 years of Clinton, the country was ready for Bush.  After 8 years of Bush, the country was ready for Obama.  After 8 years of Obama, the country will be ready for a Republican.  I tend to think of the American electorate like a pendulum.  It swings back and forth from right to left and back again.  Right now, the pendulum in on the left, but I can see it starting to swing back to the right again.  It's not that either party has better ideas than the other, which they don't.  They're just fresh ideas.  The country needs balance and so its good for party control to switch every 8-12 years.
So you changed your avatar because you want to be on the bandwagon when you expect the country to elect a GOP president? Ok.

While I agree the dog needs some socialization and shelter, it would be nice to see the Forum half as outraged about the conditions of the human characters in the story. Daddy works 60 hours a week just to keep the family in a trailer. How about some indignation about that situation?

He's worthy of some sympathy as well, sure.  But Bushie only takes advantage of him as much as he allows.  Papa Bushie could always cut Bushie off if he so desired.  Blondie has no such option.
If he cut Bushie off, Bushie would be homeless. Not everybody has the capacity to support themselves. At best, Bushie could earn minimum wage at BigBoxMart. And Papa would still be working very hard and still living in a trailer. Is that really better for anybody? FWIW, I own two (inside) dogs and they are very dear to me.

Safe travels. Bushie. I hope this trip provides you with an opportunity for self-reflection. Not many people have the opportunity to travel all the way to Africa. Try to learn from the experience of being around people whose lives are so different that yours.

Are there no laws in Kenya requiring qualifications to work in a medical clinic or in construction? The idea of Bushie (or me) doing either is tremendously reckless.

Bushie or you could help with construction in America as well. Haven't you ever heard of Habitat for Humanity?
I presume H4H includes some sort of training that is not possible on a 2 week trip. Surely they don't merely pass out lumber and nails. Do you think it is even wise/realistic for Bushie to use a ladder at his size?

Water can erased? News to me. It was my understanding that we're drinking the same water that quenched the thirst of the dinosaurs all those years ago.

Should have used the phrase "cancel out the benefits of".  Bad terminology.
Except that it's still factually inaccurate. Drinking water does not burn calories. Well, I suppose the act of swallowing must use some energy, but that's negligible. Get on a treadmill and see how hard you have to work to burn off a soda. You may be surprised.

Good Evening again folks!  It has it’s been very busy and wonderful all at the same time although now I have a massive migraine unfortunately.

God has blessed me and my heart is so happy right now!  Seeing my kids, spending time with them and with the other children makes my heart sing with joy!  I’m going to enjoy church with them tomorrow and next Sunday as well.  I'm so happy it's going to be hard to sleep!

Things are coming along just fine but there is much work to do.  You guys would be proud that I have to drink so much water during the day.  I hope it helps.

Mom is going to talk to Dad while I’m gone.  She knows what my long term goals are and what is in my heart.  Since it’s just the two of them she can share my goals about Kenya with him.  I think he will be accepting.  I’m thinking I can be here full time within a few years, hopefully 2015 but not much later than 2016 and really be a Dad to my kids.

I’ll try and update you again soon!

I bought it 100%. Impressive!

If anybody wants to live Kenya style, without the trouble of crossing the Atlantic, I invite you to visit the Mississippi Delta. Mostly extremely poor black people. There are still a few isolated people without electricity or indoor plumbing. Birthplace of Blues music, if ypu're into that. Tunica County also has several large casino/hotels, so one could visit without having to live the life fully. It's the largest casino location in the US after Vegas and Atlantic City. It's a funny combination out there in the cotton fields.

And plenty of Jesus to lean on.

With casino tourism and all that poverty, is there any prostitution, memphis?
No legal prostitutes, but I'm sure there's all sorts of trouble to be had if one looks hard enough.

This is the orphanage, isn't it?

http://www.maishainternational.org

Has anyone done any internet detective work on them?

Google provides no relevant results for "maisha international scam", so at least that's something.

Haha!  I did that too.
^^^^^^^^^^^
I even went to a few charity rating websites. Nobody has heard of them. They don't have a Wikipedia entry either. They must be a very small organization.

Of all of Bushie's delusional fantasies, the African children thing really is the most outrageous. I can't even mentally process it. He has one upped Faulkner. Good show.

What the devil?  Your goals are mad - how could he ever make $15,000/year, much less save that much.  I assume you don't make more than that yourself, do you Inks?
I don't believe Inks has ever stated aspirations to fatherhood either. At least not in the short term.

I wish Bushie would come back to the US, find this poor puppy a real home and then start dating some crazy Oklahoman woman again. Then we could all have some laughs.

Right now this thread is just darkness.

I realize I'm harsh on him a lot, but seriously... this is depressing right now.  He's on a path that's going to ruin his life and could seriously scar some innocent children.
They're already shoeless in a third world orphanage. I doubt Bushie could make it any worse for them. I wish the best for the orphans, but I doubt very much he'll have much of an impact one way or another. They'll age out of the orphanage into the streets soon enough. They'll probably have their own children to care for by then too.
