Above all else, the goal of a VP choice is to "do no harm," so even in just that light, her selection clearly helped him, not to mention the facts that she clearly successfully appealed to both Black voters who help make the Democratic base up & swing voters in rapidly diversifying suburbs across the country, particularly in the Sun Belt, as well as Latinos, given that approval for the ticket significantly increased among both Black & Latino voters following Biden's selection of her as his VP.

Net negative

She was a net negative. People just seem to viscerally dislike her, not unlike the way they viscerally dislike Hillary Clinton. That's why I pray HARD that she's not our nominee in 2024.

Amazing how, in contrast to the alternative viewpoint, neither post contains any proof to back the claim that she was a net negative up.
