Impeachment is inherently a sad, solemn occasion for the country. Having a "favorite" impeachment is like having a favorite natural disaster, not that a person couldn't have a favorite natural disaster, but the idea of having one is ludicrous.

Johnson by a wide margin. While one may criticize the Tenure of Office Act on procedural grounds, it’s pretty obvious he violated it, and therefore deserved to be impeached.

Clinton was guilty of perjury, and I would have voted accordingly, but I also think the investigation into his sex life was irrelevant and bullsh–t anyway.

The two Trump impeachments were, in the first place, red-baiting; and in the second, an obvious attempt to silence and served as the pretext for blatant censorship, so they were HP moves.

Yeah holding a president accountable for inciting a terrorist attack on our capital and abusing his office to blackmail an ally into announcing an investigation into your political rivals son for political gain in an election are actually an attempt to censor critics 🙄

The poster you're replying to has previously refused to agree with something that no less than the literal FBI was able to assess - that the storming constituted domestic terrorism - so I wouldn't exactly consider bothering to try & get through to them a good use of my time if I were you.

I'm half-convinced you're trolling at this point. Yes, "fight" is often used in a political context by both parties. But "trial by combat" certainly isn't.

The rioters were literally shouting "Hang Mike Pence". Can you imagine if they'd gotten their hands on not only Pence, but Pelosi, Schumer, AOC or Romney? You cannot deny that there was violent intent, and we are incredibly lucky that no members were harmed.

Prior to this year, January 6th was completely meaningless. His supporters only knew because he kept tweeting about it and how it would be "wild".

Anyway, you are a living demonstration of horseshoe theory.

My actual favorite example of that is jfern raving for two years about how Pelosi wouldn't impeach Trump...and then Pelosi proceeds to impeach the next Republican President twice, and he opposes it both times!
