Does Hawley realize that he is never going to be president. He got to know that right?

No, he really really thinks it's gonna happen even though he's unlikable, out of touch, and literally looks like a neanderthal.

Hawley is actually very intelligent with a strong Educational resume, and he has the youth and looks that are advantages. But after watching clips of him at rallies during his Senate Election- I have definitely thought he completely lacks the necessary charisma or ability to command a crowd needed to ever have a shot at getting the nomination.  (he lacks even an once of charisma (esp in front of a crowd or campaign rally).

His only remote possibility was being picked as someone's running mate... which now is likely off the table imo.  Haley's stock as a potential VP pick probably went up today (as she & Hawley may have competed for being picked as a runningmate for some potential nominees).

Youth and looks?  He literally looks like the missing link.

I think he's currently the youngest Senator (youth), and I'm sure there are many people that find him somewhat attractive (especially for a politician- granted, not much to competition).

Well Ossoff is about to get all the youthful senator simps so I guess Hawley better enjoy the last of his time in the sun.

Ossoff will definitely lessen Hawley's youngest Senator mantra- but they are different in parties, which matters in this regard (Since Hawley would still be the youngest Republican option). Granted Republican usually always pick older Nominees (Republicans don't usually nominate ages like Obama, Bill Clinton, Kennedy).

Morbidly obese Trumpers who had medical issues from what I've heard.

Like heart attacks or something?

With all of the Videos (showing the people and their Trump Flags)- Its somewhat bewildering to hear some people on FOX suggest ANTIFA may be partially responsible for storming the capitol today.  The clip I saw when I flipped to see how they were covering it was prior VP nominee Sarah Palin (she said something of the sort).

Although she's a bit bizarre- one sentence would be totally crazy like the ANTIFA mention, then she would say a few things that sounded remotely reasonable, before going back to crazy talk.

Cop holding door open: "Oh, I'm sorry, am I not holding the door open enough for you?  Please take some parting gifts from the art wing before you leave."

That's the most inbred looking parade I have seen in my entire life.

I didn't want to describe them specifically- but they are definitely a unique looking group.

Were any of the trump-raiders armed, or were they all searched before entering the Trump rally?

I wonder what Jared & Ivanka are thinking?  They certainly aren't perfect, but I definitely put them in a different mindset category than DJTJ & Trump himself.  (I'm guessing Trump & DJTJ loved today... where as Jared & Ivanka, who seem more opportunistic driven, were thinking: "Great- this certainly isn't going to make our post-White-House life any easier")

Steve Cohen (D-TN) just outright called Trump a “narcissistic sociopath” who has “no redeeming values” and it’s a “disgrace for America” that he even exists in our borders, says he should be removed immediately.

Between this and Toomey calling him a lying demagogue, seems like Congress is just taking the gloves off, saying everything they’ve wanted to for 4 years. It’s cathartic, I gotta say.

Cohen has never kept his gloves on lol. He told Blackburn to jump off a bridge 2 years ago.

I definitely like this guy more after reading his Blackburn comment.

Why isn't Pelosi making Cawthorn wear a mask?

Cawthorn is the worst.  Makes the whole country think he was robbed of attending the Naval Academy due to his auto accident.  Only to find out via court docs that he was actually rejected the week before the accident. Who does that- and even more, who does that and thinks no one will find out.  Although, he was elected anyway?

BTW- here is an article on the crazy "It was ANTIFA" ploy. Including how Trump started laying the groundwork yesterday (Monday) in case anything got stirred up.

Madison Cawthorn is one of the biggest phonies in American politics. His whole background is fake or misleading besides the wheelchair. And he just gave a vapid high-school debate speech about being a "radical" for limited government.

I think it's inspirational how he's able to overcome his disability.  By disability, I'm referring to his very low IQ.

I'm really hoping he gets primaried in 2022.  Or better yet, gets redistricted into a less Republican district (since NC will gain a seat, many of the districts should change a fair amount)

Speaking of the younger members of Congress- whereas Cawthorn is awful, I've always been impressed with Conor Lamb & think he will have a big future in politics if he wants it. He seems to be an incredibly effective speaker & seems like he probably is a very good campaigner regarding connecting with people. (seeing his floor speech made me think of this).

...granted he's actually not that young- didn't realize he is 36 (I think Cawthorn is 25 or 26)... but still much younger than most in Congress.

Is anyone else surprised that Trump hasn't commandeered the twitter account of one of his staff members?  I can imagine him sitting in the white house watching cable news, stewing that he's cut off from twitter.

Not sure why he didn't move to @POTUS but it appears he didn't. Still just retweets from his personal.

Is he able to retweet?  I thought his account was shut down for 24 hours or something?

Obviously, all of Trump's supporters don't look like this... But surely Trump should have known that the type of supporters of his that are going to show up to a rally to storm the Capitol.... are probably not going to be wearing pearls & khakis!
