Kansas needs a jungle primary (preferably top 4 with RCV runoff) to prevent jokes like Orman.

A jungle primary would hurt Kobach. It would help Kelly, Colyer, Svaty, Orman, or Brewer.

That's what I was saying about Orman. You wrote Orman, but I think you originally meant to write Kobach.
I meant Kobach. Who would win each of these one-on-one matchups?

Matchups:
Kobach (R) vs. Kelly (D)
Kobach (R) vs. Colyer (R)
Kobach (R) vs. Svaty (D)
Kobach (R) vs. Orman (I)
Kobach (R) vs. Brewer (D)

Bolded my picks, the first four are pretty straight-forward IMO, Kobach vs. Brewer is hard to tell.
A jungle primary would be great for Kansas. Third party candidates in the general election (if there are any) would not be blamed for being a spoiler.

I’m so excited for Governor Kelly, the stars have truly aligned for her.
Orman might prevent it from happening.

I want Kelly to win the general, but I want Colyer to win the GOP primary to stop KKKobach.

This race always had a Kemp/Cagle dynamic to it. The Trump endorsement is going to wrap up a lot of votes for Kobach; in the end, I suspect it won't be close.

Just going to comment on how hilariously wrong I apparently was. Colyer is no Cagle, that's for sure.
Cagle was plagued by a corruption scandal.

I wish Kansas had a jungle primary. Opposition against Kobach wouldn't be divided.

Well, the general election would be Colyer vs. Kobach if Kansas had the same primary as California does. A run-off like in Texas or Georgia would be interesting, but Kobach would probably win the second round.
At least Colyer would beat Kobach with a jungle primary.

Tmth, why is it so favorable to Kobach?
I thought absentees were going to favor Colyer...

When was the last time an incumbent governor got defeated in the primaries?
1956.

At least there is not a Senate seat up this year.

Roberts retires in 2020. Kobach could take that Senate seat.

If Yoder loses, who might be the 2020 GOP Senate nominee?
