This is the 2nd convention with way too much identity politics.

This convention looks like the country. The RNC has future criminals on it's schedule for obviously racist reasons.

The Maine delegate was literally a gay black guy.

Ok and....?

Maine doesn't look like that. Winning the gay black vote isn't going to sway Maine.

Are you being stupid on purpose, or accidentally?

Hillary's giving a very good speech tonight. It's further proof that America made a major mistake by electing the Orange Fartknocker instead of her.

I will go to my grave believing Hillary Clinton would have been one of the greatest presidents in American history.

She wouldn't have been, but through no fault of her own.  The Republican Congress would have conducted nonstop investigations and wouldn't have let her get anything done.

She would have been the best president of the bunch.

No doubt.

WHY THE F[INKS] IS BIDEN ON SCREEN NOW?

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE NOMINEE APPEAR UNTIL THE END WHEN THEY ACCEPT THE NOMINATION.

Conventions 101. Basic sh!t people.

False. Obama did the exact same thing at the 2008 convention after Biden spoke. Can't recall regarding 2012, but it wouldn't surprise me.

In 2012, they actually spoke on the same night.  Obama's speech was right after Biden's.

Obama did appear on stage right after Bill Clinton's speech, though.

Maybe they're trying to make it so Biden's speech will look better than the rest of night 4 by comparison. (Doubt it, of course.)

Hearing “build back better” makes my brain cells quake.

It's a pretty bad slogan, not sure why they keep repeating it (over and over and over).

More “lifelong Republicans”....oh joy.

They are entirely critical to building a winning coalition. These are sensible Americans who want a change.

Okay, but Kasich, Powell, or a Republican veteran aren’t going to be the reasons why suburban Republicans vote for Biden. The fact that he’s not Trump is good enough for them. imo you may as well use this convention to give more time to people like Yang or AOC, who are actually Democrats and can energize the base to turnout.

This.  Also, as someone else pointed out, all this "text vote to 30330" stuff makes it sound like a telethon.  They need to give people a reason to vote, not just say "Vote, damnit!"
