Another top-tier GOP challenger running, adding to the list of incredibly strong candidates in other Tossup/Lean R races such as Lou Barletta, Kevin Nicholson, Kevin Cramer and Martha McSally. Glad we were able to avoid a Montana redux here (Racicot and Zinke decided against a run and now we are stuck with unbelievably weak candidates there).

Taking into account the national environment, Scott's botched response to Parkland, Nelson's popularity, and the influx of Puerto Rican refugees, Nelson will probably still win.
