However, the former mayor of Hudson suggests that beauty is only skin deep, and since Torie arrived in town, well things have basically gone to hell.  He actually posted this on his facebook page.  I may send him a lifeline and suggest he move to Grump’s reactionary exurb in the far reaches of Alleghany County, where everybody has a gun, and he might feel safer from a wave of citidiot Godless homos and worse. And since the dude loves to drink, they might be drinking buds (put the bong away however Grumps).

Oh, it really is not about me, but about "my type" in general. In fact, I go out of my way, to try to show respect to "old Hudson."  But they don't run the show anymore. The tipping point has been reached, and what the newbies want, they will tend to get now - for example a dog park, that turned into this rather ugly class warfare, homophobe issue (e.g., we don't want the fags mincing down the street walking their toy dogs in our hood to the dog park).

Congrats to your family's success. It must be gratifying to help a small town that way.
