SF. Among other things, Urk is this tiny village on the "wrong" side of the  Zeider Zee, and thus too remote from the action I would be looking for in Amsterdam.

Everyone in Holland speaks English, and I mean everyone. It is odd I know, to listen to the tram drivers speak near flawless English but they do. But then Dutch is the closest language to English that there is on the planet, save for Frisian.

Oh, well I didn't know about Urk's cultural ambiance. I don't think I would fit in very well there.  Smiley
