I thought you said 14 days of no AFG posts was your standard.

Roughly. It's not a hard and fast rule. In this case, given her consistent inactivity over her entire term, missing most votes regardless, I feel that a recall should be conducted sooner, as Galaxie has had more than enough opportunities to lift her game and be truly active.

Fair enough but I worry about getting too recall crazy. This game is suppose to be fun and welcoming after all and her presence isn't causing Parliament to shut down. Call me too soft if you want but remember Yankee's motto as well.

Fun and welcoming, to me, means letting people have a go in office if they want to. But after they've had a good go, if they aren't living up to basic activity standards, then they should be recalled.

Sure but just think twice before shaming them. Between these last 2 recall petitions, and from when you made it fairly certain that two senators would for sure be out on activity grounds early this week, I'm worried that in time, this game could be increasingly hostile, at least given in the OP you didn't express any remorse to signing the petition. Honestly, you should at least clarify what your standard is for recalls in the OP, because otherwise, these recalls come off as, while this is unlikely to affect the composition of Parliament, partisan standard setting.

My red lines for recalls are not online for a week, not posting on the forum for roughly a week, not posting on the AFE boards for 1-2 weeks, or missing more than 5 votes in a row. LOAs to an extent excluded.
To be clear, these aren't hard and fast rules. Context matters. Newbies get more leeway. People going through personal crises get more leeway. Long time officeholders get less leeway, people with a patchy previous record get less leeway, and so on.
Why I'm being pretty strict with Galaxie's recall is that she isn't a newbie. She's previously been an MP, and has been involved in the game for quite a while now. If she was a newbie, I would be far more lenient, and would almost certainly wait another week before initiating a recall. But she isn't a newbie. She's been involved in the game for a while now, and has previously served as MP on multiple occasions.

I disagree with the leniency for new versus established users, cause established users have a history of activity and thus more likely to become active. If anything, new users should be  treated more harshly.
