I don't see the point in raising requirements for office. People aren't going to be voting for newbies to be Senator or whatever anyway so it really just gives the amendment here unnecessary baggage. I oppose if it was friendly.

Having said that I'm definitely in favor of heavier restrictions. I would not deem a month wait excessive.
