I would prefer that they not be.  The banning of prostitution, drugs, and of course Prohibition were all caused by giving women the vote.

On the downside, we would then almost certainly be given Republican President after Republican President in the states.

I don't care.  The whole political spectrum would be different.  The latter half of the 19th century may have been 'economically right-wing', but it included lots and lots of brothels, cocaine in Coke, and so many other niceties.

I'd rather have a plutocracy than a gynocracy.

Yeah, let's disenfranchise half the voting population so you can have hookers and cocaine.
