I will endorse Krist if he promises or has promised to institute an independent redistricting commission or some other way to implement fair maps. NE-02 right now is gerrymandered, fair maps could potentially make it a tilt D district

I am mildly skeptical of a democratic wave on the federal level, but there is a possibility that state dems massacre their republican opponents even if that happens.
