That's interesting. There were all these reports recently that Trump was suspected by various three letter agencies of working with the Russians to cheat the election which would obviously have necessitated the surveillance that these reports heavily hinted was going on.

Good to know that all these reports were rubbish. If we take Ryan at his word then that there was no investigation into Trump, no FISA request, no surveillance, no real substantial suspicion. Good of him to confirm that.

Trump says his twitter rant accusing Obama of ordering surveillance on Trump Tower was justified because he's heard a bunch of people say the word "wiretap" recently. Huh

He's right. A whole bunch of news outlets have been insinuating that Trump was under surveillance by various three letter agencies. Watching them furiously backpeddle on this when Trump publicly drew the conclusion that they wanted the public to make fully justifies the tweets.

BREAKING: Nunes confirms Trump was bugged during transition.

If the "legal" investigation into Trump were serious, why were they leaking everything they had? It's clear that these investigations are just legal barb wire snares. Trump and his opposition are, metaphorically speaking, fighting in trenches for control of no-mans land. These investigations are phony, barely legal methods for nefarious elements of our intelligence community to undermine a President who is rolling back their agenda.

Also, notice how when Trump says "wait until next week" for his proof to arrive, which it always does. Notice how Rachel Maddow spent months talking about Trump's taxes only to find that he was telling the truth? You guys must feel so helpless.

That tin foil hat is cutting circulation off to your brain

Let's not allow the Trump camp's whining, and Nunes' smoke-blowing to obscure the key fact here that the AP broke this morning:

Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign manager (and long-time resident of Trump Tower) was a paid covert agent of the Russian government.

This reeks of team Trump trying to get ahead of a damning reveal to provide cover for themselves.
Actually the AP report this morning was proof of nothing of the kind. However if you're interested in some real investigative reporting here this from Lee Stranahan
