If you drink a whole bottle, it doesn't matter.

Wimp. My skinny, 70 year old, 4'11 grandma has downed at least 1 bottle of wine a night for decades.

Red Ice has been a prominent part of alt-right media for a while.

It's been around for what, like 7 or more years now? I recall reading Red Ice when I frequented AboveTopSecret (which was at least better than godlikeproductions), so it's been around since at least 2009. Hardly new.

I am very interested in where this is going.

hope your heartburn gets sorted out.  It's rough to have to deal with that, I know from experience.

It's better now, but I need to watch what I eat. No more super-spicy chili.

That's just being alive, not living. I'd rather they just euthanize me.

Bought my ticket back north for Thanksgiving. Ready for some real fall weather.
I thought you were in South Dakota?

I'll be going to Green Bay for a week on November 29. Considering the temperature difference between Florida and Wisconsin at that time and the fact I've never even seen snow before, this will be very interesting.

Back to working in a kitchen again after a year and a half of less physically demanding work. I didn’t miss the discomfort of getting my feet accustomed to hours of continuous standing on a hard floor Sad But this is only temporary, thank god. I need me a nice office job sitting in front of a computer all day.

I'm currently torn between the desire for the weekend to end quickly so that I can meet my crush again, as we're both clearly interested in each other, and the desire for the weekend to continue to eternity because I'm feeling sick.

What’s he like? You know you gotta tell us

Hahah, well... He's extremely cute, we have an astounding chemistry (which is notable because there are few people with whom I feel so free to talk), and his smile is the best. Oh, and we're mostly compatible politically which is a nice bonus. So I think it's safe to say I'm very glad I chanced upon him.

I'm so happy for you Smiley

^^ Seconded.

He sounds great. I really hope things can work out between you two!

My depression and anxiety seem to be worsening again.
Same, but I think I can handle it and not spiral. I take it as a turning point in my life; after this everything will be different and I think I'll be changed for the better.
If you want to talk, I will.

I don't know if this applies to others, but in my darkest times I've always taken comfort in accepting that all things in life are temporary and subject to change. Or, as the Persians say...

In 6 hours I leave for the airport to fly to Green Bay to meet my girlfriend. We’ve been together for several months now and we finally get to meet in person. I’m pretty anxious about it, but also very excited that I get to spend a week with the person who makes me so damn happy.

Thank you, Enduro and fhtagn!

I’m currently waiting at JIA and have those pre-flight jitters. Gah! I’ve never flown alone before, so new experience for me. Listening to a guy snoring loud while sleeping on the floor nearby is funny at least.

I want to die. I accidentally sent a sexual meme to my mom instead of my girlfriend. How do you delete yourself from existence?

I just got home from my trip. Flew from Jacksonville to O’Hare then Green Bay, spent a few days in Green Bay in a hotel with my girlfriend, then went to Washington Island in Door County where she lives. I was supposed to leave for the airport Tuesday morning, but the wind storm was awful and shut down the ferry, which is the only way on and off the island. So, I decided to stay a while longer and got greyhound bus tickets for Saturday. Spent since 11am CST in bus stations and on buses going from Green Bay back home to the Jacksonville area. It was cool seeing all of that part of the country and meeting lots of different people. I got to see Milwaukee, Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta, along with all the scenery along the highways in between.

Anyway, for those interested, it went amazing with my girlfriend, whom I met online in August. We hit it off so well and I truly, truly love this girl. We’re so eager to work out a way to live together as soon as possible that’s reasonable and realistic since neither of us are rich people. But, I love her and she loves me, so we’ll find a way. It was an amazing experience being with her and an interesting trip across that part of the country.

And here’s a picture of us at Green Bay’s Garden of Lights...

Thank you to all of you guys for your kind words! I’m exhausted from the trip, but still so excited about everything. I know that I’m such an incredibly lucky person for not only finding this amazing girl who loves me, but for finding love altogether. I hope that everyone here can meet someone great and get to see the beauty of our country from the road.

Based solely on what I could see from the bus, I definitely think Chicago, Atlanta, and Milwaukee were the most beautiful cities, although Green Bay is lovely too and small enough that that’s where I’d prefer to live. The most beautiful scenery I saw was in Door County, Wisconsin and the area around Chattanooga, Tennessee. Below are some pictures from Door County...

Wow that's beautiful. Especially the church- it looks magical.

That old Norwegian Church is called Stavkirke. It’s truly beautiful inside as well and was designed as a replica of the Borgund, Norway Stavkirke built in 1050 AD. Behind it is a prayer path with several posts featuring verses from the Bible that run through the woods. I walked some of the path. There’s also a book in the church where locals and tourists wrote their names, mostly couples and wedding parties, so I wrote our names as well in the book. The Bible they have was donated and features images painted by a famous artist - perhaps Picasso, but I can’t recall for certain.

I met Retromike today! We had lunch on the UCLA campus and chatted about Atlas, AAD, and bunch of other stuff.

Chatting about Atlas IRL is cringe...

I just got a snap from my plug which read "this is [redacted]'s mom. Don't hit my son up anymore for this stuff."

Don't buy your pot from high schoolers is the moral of the story.

You just realized that?

My girlfriend’s mom is incredibly abusive and controlling. Today, she took her phone and turned off the WiFi. So, worried about her, I texted her mom to give her a chance to let me speak with my girlfriend before I called the police for a welfare check. She ignored me, so I called the police and they went to their house. They called me and informed me she’s alright and that her mom was intentionally ignoring my texts. Well, I’m getting her a phone on my contract for Christmas and sending it tomorrow and texted her mom that if she takes that phone from her, which is in my mom’s name, I’ll have charges pressed against her for theft.

My grandma has been in the hospital from COPD for several days, and they're going to move her into ICU. I'm absolutely terrified. Losing her is my biggest fear and I'm absolutely terrified right now. I don't know what I'll do if you if she dies. She's the person I'm closest too out of anyone.

I'm very sorry to hear that Sad but you should definitely not lose hope. Nobody knows what may happen, so just focus on thinking positively the best you can. I really hope everything turns out alright for her and your family.

Finished work today and am beginning my weekend by pouring me a glass of Bird Dog Whiskey on the rocks and listening to my Spotify playlist, anxiously awaiting the Pats game tonight.

I went last night to The Junction, saw my best friends band play, rekindled a acquaintanceship with the girl who rejected me for being a Trumper, drank five gin and tonics in three hours, and stayed up to 5:00 AM puking.

But at least I just got a cool match on Tinder with some TurningPointUSA girl.

Lightweight!

It's good to hear you met another deplorable on Tinder. I honestly wish you good luck and that you score a cool date with her (and then some).

So many changes are about the occur in my life. On the 1st, I’m flying up to Green Bay and driving with my girlfriend back down here to St. Augustine because she’s moving in with me. Our halfway point will be where my family lives in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, so we’ll be staying with them and they told me if I like it there all I have to do is ask and I’ll have an interview for a position at a nursing home company making good money with options of living in Clarksville or Nashville, Tennessee. I’m very seriously considering taking them up on their offer, in which case I’d be moving to Tennessee pretty soon. I also told my girlfriend I want her to only work part time so she can focus on starting college, which she loves hearing. Altogether, I’m quite happy with the way my life is going right now.
