Nope. Never held or even seen one either, aside from a beebee gun. Being around a gun would make me uncomfortable, honestly. So obviously I have no intention of ever owning one.

I'm not sure how owning a gun makes someone a maniac. Are those who own them for protection maniacs? I think it'd be perfectly understandable if you live in a dangerous community or in the countryside. Even collectors and those who use them recreationally (and safely) aren't maniacs. I can't say I understand the appeal, but to each their own.
