Nobody should be banned from travelling to the United States based on race, religion, or nationality.
Stavridis doesn't mean race, religion, and nationality. He means enemies of US democracy.

He calls for banning Russian citizens on the basis that they are Russians.  Sounds like nationality to me, kid.

Banning all Russians from entering the US? That's ridiculous and really racist

If the Democrats start pushing for stuff like that, they're clearly heading for defeat in 2020. Seriously, the Democratic Party hasn't been this messed up since 1972 imo.

There was no collusion and there is no reason to impose stricter sanctions on Russia. We should work towards normalizing relations between the West and Russia.

America interferes in politics everywhere, in much more blatant ways than just buying some Facebook ads, and they're open about it. The same goes for my own country (to an of course much more limited extent). I guess most people here are fine with that, but then don't tell me you're not being a hypocrite when you complain about Russia doing the same.

Russia tried to do the same thing France's elections but it didn't work. Russia is an interfering country, period.
Le Pen would have made a better president.

If anything the Hollande government made sure Macron won by using the courts as political weapons to go after Fillon and the media to go after Mélenchon (the two guys who would have beaten Macron) so that he'd be up against Le Pen, the one candidate who couldn't beat him. And then just before the election the media got info on Macron that the government ordered them to not report.

Macron was the choice of the liberal elites/EU and they weren't letting him lose.

So what you are saying is that Russia was justified in trying to interfere in that election? Now you have just exposed exactly what a lot of people think, which is that it is perfectly okay for Russia to manipulate anything they want to just as long as it benefits people you like. My point wasn't even about who the candidate were.

Yeah right, do you think we actually believe that? Had there been Russian meddling (which didn't happen), the left would have been happy as long as it benefited Clinton.

Which pervious threads?

And yes of course it does

I checked you on the fact that Russian is not a race and you didn't correct yourself. It's okay though, because I read you for it.

Second, social justice is about equality based on any number of social factor. It has nothing to do with globalism or foreign policy or any of the other nonsense you were talking about.

Xenophobic then. You got what I meant.

Maybe not for the base, but most certainly for the corporate elites and the UMC supporting it.
