Overall a FF though I disagree with Planks in Share our Wealth, his dictatorial like power when he was governor of Louisiana, his support and connection with Father Coughlin, among others. But I do remember him fondly for his work in improving the lives of the poor and disconnected in Louisiana along with his fight against the monied establishment in the Senate so that's why I give him a FF and believe the "Kingfish" is a true example of a what a liberal Populist should look like. ((Not a Communist one which I respect even more in a time where communism was much more popular in the mainstream along with socialism (see Minnesota Governor) and this distinction of him can be seen in his Normon Thomas debates in the 30s) Overall I think he would of make a great president if he lessened on his central authority style of governance.
I basically agree. This is a good assessment
