Sounds about right, but anything from a 10% AMM win to a 35% Omar win wouldn’t surprise me.  However, given all her advantages and the fact that - as in 2018 - she is simultaneously the DFL establishment and Berniecrat movement’s candidate, if Omar gets anything less than 60% of the vote then it’s basically a loss (or perhaps more accurately, a vote of no confidence from her constituents).

Imagine thinking this wan't a colossal underperformance by Omar.

Great, at least two more years of this antisemite, possibly more. Maybe she’ll take the hint from the fact that her win was a bit underwhelming and tone it down a notch or two, but I have my doubts.

I do hope some of the “moderate heroes” here get a little more nuanced in their views of progressives, and don’t say that all of us are the same and are “radical extremists” or whatever. AOC and Omar are not at all the same, and plenty of progressives legitimately want to help people and make this country more equitable, even if you question the effectiveness of their solutions. We’re part of the party, and maybe you could focus on trying to defeat the ones who actually are bigoted and harmful to the cause, rather than wishing for all of us to go away (kudos to those who already do this, you know who you are.)

She's not an anti-Semite.

Yes, she is. The sooner you all admit it the better.

It's funny how both Muslim women to ever serve in Congress get called anti-semites despite endorsing the most significant Jewish Presidential candidate in US history.

“It’s funny how people called Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms racists when they voted in favor of confirming the only African-American currently serving on the US Supreme Court.”  - Jfern circa 1991
