Hurray for Vance! Zeb will lead us to prosperity!

Don't forget Joe! President Smith will break down all religious barriers, except for those filthy papists!

Getting a little ahead of yourself, aren't you?

Only one election. A man can dream, after all. Also, are we going forward with a Whig-PA merger?

A Whig-PA merger can be done, but I don't wish to do it by fiat. (See: 1884 Conventions.)

No fiat was intended, my good friend. I was simply asking if our Whiggish brethren would like to follow in the footsteps of their Radical brothers.

I'd strongly support a merger, maybe we can call the party something new though if the merger succeeds.  I think the Farmer-Labor party has a nice ring to it Wink
