No reason for them not to go for Hillary unless they are also true socialists/Greens. BLM's new platform isn't very far from those extremists, and the Dems are throwing a lot of red meat their way.
Yeah, inanity, because I haven't seen BLM riot and disrupt people's daily lives at the Mall of America, state fair, highways, etc. in my own back yard. We have a lot of them here around the Twin Cities and they are not well liked outside the ones who are already firmly on their side.
It's an extremist movement in its tactics and its ideology, and the platform they released last week that includes calls for slavery reparations proves it.
