There's always an alternative to this power-sharing deal. Nuke the filibuster and ram through DC statehood. Problem solved.

Schumer's too much of a coward to do that.

You're just saying that, you don't have evidence to back it up. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt, stop constantly being doomers and attacking the Democrats.

Does McConnell actually believe the filibuster will remain, or did he just think that he wouldn't be able to get it guaranteed in the resolution so continuing the fight was pointless?

The majority of the legislature being able to do what it wants works fine in other countries. America just has to be 'exceptional', yet again.
