Interestingly, Democratic voters prefer a candidate who is "Progressive" rather than "Moderate" by a 49-44 margin. Why did they use progressive if they already use "liberal?" White voters prefer a moderate by a 45-47 split, while black voters prefer a progressive by a 51-44 margin.


I'd be very surprised to see Kamala only getting 8% of the black vote. Not saying that she would get a huge % just because she is black, but Beto even getting double her %? That seems unlikely. I'd venture to say 17% is about Bernie's cap overall in that department.

I wouldn't be so confident to say this. This looks like his worst poll when it comes to black voters in a while. Quite a few other polls had his black support in the 20s and one was in the 30s, IIRC. It's too early to say for sure, but I expect that he should do reasonably well with black voters more than what many might think.
