He won't; even Trump knows that he can't win the state. The same pollsters who predicted that Obama would win in in 2012 are showing that Clinton is leading in the high single digits or low double digits in Virginia.

Even if Trump does manage to win ME-AL, the 270 firewall still holds.

Clinton: 270
Trump: 268

She must tell voters that she is against all regulation to prevent climate change. She would also have to go to the super liberal college towns of Oklahoma City and Tulsa to get voter turnout up there. We have had few polls of Oklahoma, and since Bill Clinton came close to winning it, it could be a sleeper state this year.

He probably already has it in the bag since Clinton and Trump are both bad fits for the state. The real question is how Castle loses Vermont.

He must emphasize his policies on drug legalization and social issues and point out how Clinton is a fraud, leaving voters with no one to vote for except him. Also, he would have to get turnout really high in all the inland counties that he won in 2012 with a strong GOTV effort.

West Virginia is irrelevant to the campaigns this year since it is so safe. Bill Clinton won it twice by a large margin, and it even voted for Dukakis. Hillary Clinton does not need to worry about losing West Virginia since it is Titanium D.
