Am I supposed to be playing two games at once?

The error was mine copying text to Scott. NYE vs Tim is already underway. I acknowledged the error to Scott and he should be posting or reaching out to you and AGA about how to proceed now that a bye is in play from HockeyDude's withdrawal.

Taking another look, it also appears that TimTurner was accidentally listed twice as well. And TimTurner is listed as black - twice, while AGA is also listed as black. If I do not take the bye, I play as black against bore. I know that I cannot play against AGA again because that is against the rules.

I'm very confused. I think I play against bore, but where does that leave TimTurner and AGA?

Now that the tournament has entered its fifth month, it might be worthwhile to consider if this is the way we want to do these things going forward. We had a lot of drop-outs, and it's hard to keep people engaged for this long.

Alright, now that the only game going on right now is between oakvale and NOVA Green and we really need to move on, I am starting round 5 now. oakvale and NOVA Green can jump in once they finish.

It only took eight months but good game folks.

This year's tournament won't be for a while but I think we need to have a clearer understanding of the rules and possibly shorter time limits. The three-day round thing clearly wasn't working even though people have busy schedules. If muon or anyone else has something different in mind I'm all ears. We can also move from chess.com to lichess.org, as I understand some want to do.

What do people think of the Swiss model?

Also, this year's tournament will be in early summer. I realize that starting these at the beginning of the semester doesn't make much sense.

Needless to say this tournament wouldn't be possible without muon's help, so thank you for keeping score and setting the match-ups.
