Let's suppose I were playing a modified version of Russian Roulette. Depending on the color that comes out, I must have a drink with someone of that color avatar, selected at random, except for one color I choose to leave out. Here's what my impressions would be.

Red: Well that narrows it down to most of the site. Some very good, some very bad, some somewhere in between. Neutral.

Blue: Most of the Republicans here are masochists for continuing to stick with a party that marginalizes their interests but I'd even say I have a good relationship with most of the Trumpists here. I'll say lean positive, but I've also said that if I were to have a drink with Fuzzy Bear, religion and politics would be off the table.

Yellow: I've been on this forum for nine years and I think most of our prominent yellow avatars have stopped posting, because I can only recall a handful who actively post on this site now. I sympathize with libertarians on most social and cultural issues but otherwise don't have much personally in common with the ones on this forum.

Dark Green: Neutral/positive. There aren't a lot of dark green avatars anymore either, but I've gotten along fine with them. And I stand a pretty good chance of landing on OC here, which would be a dream come true.

Light Green: We have an image problem, guys; let's at least own up to it. Beet-level doomerism annoys me and so does unbridled idealism and purity tests. And the whole reason I settled on light green was to avoid being boxed into any one ideology or national party identity - even though my ballot is going to almost always be straight D at the end of the day. Wouldn't be my first choice, but I'll take it.

Dark Red: Most of them really aren't that edgy, and Nathan and Antonio V are two of my best friends here. I'd gladly get a drink with either of them any day. Very positive. EDIT: Except for the actual PRC shill who started posting here

Tan: So I guess I would either get peenie_weenie, Mr. Reactionary (pretty much left), Ben Kenobi, TJ, or Yellowhammer. I'm pretty sure that lfromnj's avatar is for meme purposes. I'd love to hang with peenie or Reactionary but Kenobi and Yellowhammer would both tempt me into pulling a real gun on myself. Neutral on TJ and I doubt he ever drinks in the first place. So overall we'd really be playing with dice on this one.

Orange: shua's great, Cathcon's great, smilo's great, Skunk's great, most of our foreign posters are great, and except for the dull O-MI Trump hack I have on ignore I can't think of one I have a negative opinion of. Positive.

I entered this thinking yellow but I think I'm going to stave off the thirsty transphobe and the neo-Confederate doomer kid, so tan it is. (Sorry, peenie. Sad)

You're the exception that proves the rule. Kind of like the "No Homers Club"...you're the good one.

Huh I'm not thirsty.

I wasn't talking about you, I voted tan. The thirsty transphobe in question is Ben Kenobi, and I'd probably be better not re-litigating his 'thirst' problem over a certain lady poster here...
