Fredericksburg, Texas1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on TX Labor website

Good morning, Fredericksburg!

It's good to be back in Texas after spending most of this week at home in Frémont. Vice President OBD has done a spectacular job running Governor Bryant and Labor's campaign in the state, and in anticipation of tonight's polls, I thought I'd make another run down here as we enter the second half of the campaign season.

Gillespie County probably isn't expected to be friendly Labor territory this month. Although, given the absence of Federalist leaders, we might be in for some big surprises this month. But there is a very specific reason I picked Fredericksburg today.

Not far from here is the boyhood home of the 36th President of the former United States, Lyndon Baines Johnson. When President Kennedy was taken from us on that solemn day, President Johnson bore the great challenges of healing a country in mourning, while also establishing programs intended to provide aid to our seniors, our poor, and our working men and women of this great country, in addition to solving the problem of racial injustice.

Lyndon Johnson packaged these reforms into what he called the "Great Society", which the President defined as "a society where no child will go unfed, and no youngster will go unschooled."

Public education was expanded, medical care was expanded, urban problems were addressed, rural poverty was addressed, and new transportation initiatives were launched during this time - by the most progressive Congress since the New Deal era. These programs proved to be so popular that they were even expanded under the two consecutive Republican presidents after Johnson left office.

Labor has, for the last two years the party has been in power, built on President Johnson's vision - very often with bipartisan or tripartisan support. We're expanding civil rights for black Atlasians and protection from police misconduct, we're investing in high speed rail and infrastructure, we're employing those who lost their jobs during the pandemic with our renewed Civilian Conservation Corps and paying them living wages, we're raising teacher pay.

All of the major initiatives out of the last two years, and our various stimulus measures keeping small businesses and families afloat, were led by one party: the party of the working people, the marginalized, the poor, and those who are victims of bigotry. That's the Labor Party.

And so we in the Labor Party have recently dubbed these last two years and growing as the New Great Society. We've rolled back decades of deregulation backed by corporate interests. We've re-expanded the safety net. We've implemented criminal justice reform as well as police brutality to address what's been called the "new Jim Crow".

We've stood with our nation's farmers, teachers, small business owners, those who've been afflicted by this horrendous pandemic and lost loved ones, both young and old. And in the process, we are growing our economy by taking the necessary steps to expand public works programs.

This, my friends, is the New Great Society.

But Federalist obstruction in Austin has stalled that progress in the Lone Star State, and it left our most vulnerable to suffer in the freezing winter last February. All so that they can have an issue to run on. And even then, Federalists have been hesitant to speak to you all on their vision for Texas.

This month, Texas, we're sending a message to the opposition by sending Governor Bryant back with a heavy mandate.

I'm happy to have Governor Bryant to speak with me today, but first I'd like to introduce two of our candidates for statehouse: Colonel Phil McCabe, and anti-poverty activist Elisha Samson, who are running for State Senate and State House, respectively. I've been very fortunate to recruit and meet with our diverse array of candidates for statehouse in all the states we're contesting this month. People of all backgrounds, professions, and creeds. A record number of retired or active-duty military veterans, and an even bigger number of women.

Texas, you are on track to having one of the most progressive, diverse legislators representing you in Austin. These are people with your interests at heart. These are people who want to banish this pandemic to the pit of Hell and double down on our recovery efforts. These people are the New Great Society. These are the people who we've set out to build on the legacy of Presidents Johnson, Kennedy, Truman, and Roosevelt.

They're going to fight like hell for you. And while the districts we're competing it might not look good for us on paper, we're paving the way for a great red wave across the State of Texas, in big cities and small towns alike.

This month, let's return Governor Bryant to the Governor's Mansion with a strong mandate.

And now it is my honor to introduce you to my friend, your governor, Ramsey Bryant!

A Message From The Former Vice President
livestreamed on all State Labor websites

image of Mark Udall from CSPAN

MC: And now, folks, I'm proud to give you... the former Vice President of Atlasia, Scott!

Thank you! Thank you all!

Good evening Ventura, good evening Frémont, and good evening to the great people of Atlasia!

Well, here we are, Atlasia. After a year of hardship, a year of loss, a year of pain, here we all are - together, as patriots and as the stewards of what we in Labor call the New Great Society.

When I re-entered the Atlasian Senate early last year, our government was immediately tasked with combating this invisible enemy, COVID-19. I worked with then-Speaker thumb to introduce the first of what would be many stimulus measures, intended to keep our economy afloat, our citizens fed and living under a roof, our essential workers safe, and even a UBI pilot program that may serve as the impetus for a long-term reform.

We acted swiftly in the face of a crisis. And in the process, we've laid the grounds for new infrastructure projects in the post-COVID economy. We renewed the Depression-era Civilian Conservation Corps, specifically to provide living wages to workers emerging from the pandemic, which will result in unprecedented improvements to our infrastructure and new opportunities for Atlasians in cities and rural areas.

Right now as we speak, your Labor Congress is deliberating legislation that will apply to the World Trade Organisation for a patent waiver on coronavirus vaccines and treatments. The House is on the cusp of passing the High Speed Rail Act, which will connect cities, states, and regions throughout our Republic.

Labor has led these efforts, many with bipartisan support, to modernize our infrastructure and expand our safety net, especially in these trying times.

We passed the Red-Green New Deal, which passed by a mere 4-2 party-line vote in the Atlasian Senate. I was there when we passed that bill, and as I've said so many times over the course of my campaign in the states, from Texas to Wyoming, that vote was one of my proudest as an Atlasian Senator.

And we're going to carry that battle onward, from Nyman to Lincoln to the South to my home region of Frémont! And we will resist any attempt to undo the progress that we have made thus far. We're going to put the elites and liars in their place, regardless of what party they hail from.

And yes, folks, our own party is no exception to that.

To those in our party not from Frémont, welcome to Ventura! This is where we formally outline our vision for the future of our country. This is where we put forward our new plan for Atlasia in a post-pandemic nation. This is where we formally mark this great new era in social progress.

My friends, the New Great Society is here to stay, and we'll keep fighting for every supporter, for every last vote we can get.

Good times are here again! And so is a much-needed return to normalcy and stability.

Thank you, Ventura! Dave bless you all, Dave bless this great land of ours, and Dave bless the people who make it great!

Jackson, Wyoming1
Pictured: Former Vice President Scott meeting with Governor Wynona Thomas in Jackson Hole before the small campaign rally
Livestreamed on WY Labor website

Jackson will always be home to me. Wyoming, like so many of our states in Frémont, is like one big small town. And this morning I'm glad to be here with my good friend, Governor Wynona Thomas, for our first rally without mask mandates or social distancing in place.

While I have no doubt that Wyoming will remain in Labor hands, I would be remiss to ignore the state that's been so good to me since I moved to Frémont a few years ago. It's hard to believe that after the events of the past week, we are only halfway through campaign season. I for one am using the opportunity to relax in anticipation of the upcoming polls.

"Wyoming loves Wynona." I saw that on a few signs driving my way up here. Wynona has been a shining example of Labor leadership at its best. Her calm demeanor, her down-to-earth personality, and her passion for the great outdoors, all embody the spirit of this great state.

And it's only fitting that the first state to give women the right to vote, is also one of the states to have elected a woman governor in the first round of state elections.

There is good reason Wyoming is often referred to as the Equality State.

Over the course of this campaign, I've had the pleasure of recruiting a diverse slate of candidates of all backgrounds, including military, and a record number of women and black, Asian, and Latino Atlasians.

Truly our party reflects the makeup of the nation it governs.

And as we prepare to pass President Sestak's mass transit bill, you all can rest assured that Wyomingites will get a slice of the pie. Hundreds who were put out of work because of the pandemic will continue to be employed by the new CCC and build on our road system, especially in the remote areas of big states like Wyoming where our major population centers - Jackson, Cheyenne, Cody, Casper, Sheridan, and Laramie - are scattered throughout.

Wynona is making that change possible. She knows that Wyoming has a partner in Denver as well as Nyman.

And to those watching this rally at home, I will say these words until I'm blue in the face: once you are fully vaccinated, YOU DO NOT NEED A MASK. And soon Labor will be holding more rallies like this, where social distancing and mask-wearing are no longer necessary.

So get vaccinated. Do your part in combating this pandemic. And I guarantee that you will reap the benefits.

I'm going to pass the mic along to Wynona to say a few words. Afterwards, I'll be resting at my ranch while we await the mid-campaign polls.

Dave bless all of you. Let's keep moving forward as one state, one nation, one region, and ultimately, as one people.

Thank you very much.

Salt Lake City, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Hello again, Salt Lake City! It's been a long ride from my ranch in Wyoming to here, but I want Labor's vision for the state to be known to every Utahn, in both rural and urban areas. And that is why tonight, we are running voter registration campaigns to get as many people to turn out as possible.

Tonight is something of a historic day. The Senate convicted the corrupt governor who betrayed all our trust. The House is about to pass the High Speed Rail Act, and while the opposition is voting overwhelmingly against the bill, it is passing all thanks to Labor support. And I want to thank President Sestak for his leadership on this issue.

Amanda Young's plan for transportation is simple: we are going to use our funds from that bill to build high speed rail from Salt Lake City to Provo, not a commuter line through southeast Utah that is essentially pork supported by the Democratic Alliance. Pork, folks. An actual train to nowhere!

In addition to Nyman's plan, much progress has already been made in Denver. With the Frémont Public Transportation Expansions/Connections Act of 2020, we've electrified the FrontRunner commuter rail in Salt Lake City. We've extended the Blue Line to Orem via Lehi, and extended the Green Line to Bountiful. And for weekends, we've created the Bus Rapid Transit to Park City and nearby ski resorts.

These aren't empty platitudes. This isn't pork barrel spending for a train through the desert. That is a record. And these initiatives make a huge difference in the lives of thousands in this great state.

But as you can see in both the Senate and the ongoing House vote on President Sestak's plan, the opposition stands firmly against improving connectivity across the country. But the Lab-Lib alliance you elected to the House last month is moving forward. And once it passes, Utah will also move forward with Amanda Young at the helm.

The SLC-Provo plan is necessary, fiscally responsible, and not a giveaway to special interests or contractors. And it is supported by the mayors of both cities.

Don't be fooled, Utah. While our friends in the Democratic Alliance like to talk about public transportation, the fact of the matter is that we are the party with a record of getting stuff done. We are the party with a comprehensive plan that is based on the consensus of we, the people.

Before I close, I'd like to applaud the Utah Senate for voting to remove the Governor today. This truly was an effort supported by all parties in our legislature, and Amanda Young was among those who led the call for impeachment and was ultimately appointed by the Speaker to be an impeachment manager.

Let's give her a round of applause, folks.

[audience cheers]

And now, fresh out of the impeachment trial, I would like to introduce you all to the next Governor of Utah. Ladies and gentlemen, Ms. Amanda Young!

Provo, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Hello, Provo! It's great to be here with you all today, and I'd like to thank our student volunteers at BYU for providing us a venue as well as registering new voters.

I was recently in Salt Lake City, where I outlined the Utah Labor plan for expanding mass transit: instead of building trains through the desert, into areas of the state where the only inhabitants are lizards, snakes, toads, and a few jack rabbits, we're going to use funds from President Sestak's High Speed Rail Act to expand high speed rail between these two cities.

I am here with your mayor, Eli Richardson, to promote the plan that Labor and Amanda Young are lobbying for here in Utah. Make no mistake: Labor is for public transportation, and we have a record to prove it. Whether it's the Frémont Public Transportation Expansions/Connections Act that First Minister Truman signed last year, or the High Speed Rail Act which is expected to pass in spite of stiff opposition, it is clear that Labor is the party you can trust.

But as we've seen with the Democratic Alliance's plan, as well as one proposal in Lincoln that a prominent member of the DA criticized as wasteful spending, not all transportation projects are created equal. That DA member I am speaking of is my good friend Australian Swing Voter, who criticized the Lincoln plan as "pointless routes that serve very small cities over very long distances and would be a massive waste of government spending."

And he's right! While transportation advocates in Lincoln erred on this specific proposal, Frémont Labor is for PRACTICAL AND EFFECTIVE infrastructure spending! That is what we support. That is what First Minister Truman supports. That is what Amanda Young supports. And once she is sworn in with President Sestak's High Speed Rail Act signed into law, her first order of business will be to procure funding for the SLC-Provo rail.

This will help thousands of people, by expanding job opportunities for people to work in Salt Lake City and more easily commute from Provo, and helping our BYU students commute to and from school. It's a plan that is efficient and, unlike the DA's train to nowhere, is likely to be approved by the National Rail Authority once it is established.

The National Rail Authority will also be working in coordination with the new Civilian Conservation Corps to employ people who lost their jobs due to the pandemic. And I can assure you that everyone the CCC does employ, will be paid a living wage. This is consistent with Labor principles. This is consistent with responsible government that uses your tax dollars efficiently.

And now, with the removal of the disgraced former Governor Udall, Utah can turn the page with a new government that puts the people first. A government that is straightforward with the people it represents. And a governor who shares the same values that are instilled in our young people.

Meeting with students at Brigham Young University has been an honor, and they give me confidence that Utah will be in good hands going forward. We're going to address climate change and invest in nuclear energy. We're going to use your taxpayer dollars - which, thanks to Labor and the First Minister, you do not have to pay a dime to in Denver - in a way that is efficient and helps the most people without draining the Treasury.

Mayor Richardson will also be fighting for you, and I'm pleased to have him here to aid his campaign for Senate. A BYU graduate himself, Mayor Richardson will put the people of Provo first, and he will be among those shepherding legislation to accomplish our plan for high speed rail under the Labor-backed bill in Nyman.

I cannot stress enough the importance of records over rhetoric. I think you all know which party is campaigning on which.

Write it down: Frémont Labor is the transportation party. We're the party for the working men and women, as well as our young people, who strive for jobs and opportunity. For people who want to make this great country even greater, one neighborhood, city, state, and region at a time.

That is the New Great Society.

Thank you, Provo. Now I would like to introduce you to our candidate for Senate, your mayor, Eli Richardson!

Bountiful, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Hello, Bountiful!

Well, no one can say your city doesn't live up to its name! In 1960, just over 17,000 people lived here. Now the city has a population of over 43,000 and growing. Northern Utah and the Wasatch Front in particular have seen big changes over the last half-century, thanks to rising birth rates as well as immigration.

And here in Utah, we welcome that growth. We welcome refugees and people running from oppression and authoritarian regimes. We welcome people who came to our country legally. And we understand that while people who want to contribute to our society should have a swift process in migrating here legally, walls do not build bridges.

The LDS Church has instilled these values of inclusion in those who are members of the faith, and while I come from a different religious tradition, I have great reverence for the community spirit that spreads over Bountiful and throughout the rest of Utah.

Here with me is State Representative Amanda Young, Labor's candidate for Governor who you are going to elect with a great mandate in the legislature that supports her reforms! Also with me are Paul Gideon, an elder for the local LDS Temple, and Raúl González, the son of Colombian immigrants. They are running for State Senate and State House respectively, and while Amanda has great plans for Utah, she needs a legislature that supports her and places their confidence in her.

We're reopening the doors of the Governor's Mansion. With the conviction and removal of Governor Udall which Amanda helped lead, we can turn the page to a cleaner, better Utah and ethical representation in Salt Lake City.

Some, I understand, believe that Labor is running a smear campaign for pointing out Mr. Ben Matheson's ties to radical neoliberalism. This is not an attack; one of the pioneers of the DA campaign defines himself as a "radical neoliberal" in his signature. And while Utah Neoliberal is entitled to his views, people must understand what neoliberalism entails and what that means for you.

Neoliberalism means tax cuts for the very wealthy, as was done in New Jersey. Neoliberalism means cuts to the social safety net. Neoliberalism means letting corporations and banks write their own rules. Neoliberalism means so-called "tort reform" which prevents victims of crime from seeking proper retribution.

And here in Utah, neoliberalism means claiming to be fiscally responsible while building a rail to nowhere in the desert.

This is not only a waste of taxpayer dollars; it violates common sense. And while it may provide a few temporary jobs in the short term, ultimately it does nothing to serve growing communities like these in the Wasatch Front.

Make no mistake: a neoliberal government that wastes your tax dollars is a bad deal for Utah.

Utah Labor's priorities are very different. Utah Labor supports practical and effective infrastructure spending that helps all communities, urban and rural, especially for cities like Bountiful and Logan. We're going to fix our roads, build new schools, and employ and support workers with a living wage while the private sector continues to recover.

An Amanda Young administration will be one of the most transparent administrations in history. That is what reopening the Governor's Mansion is all about: a clean administration that is straightforward with the people it is meant to serve.

And that is what a New Great Society is about. In order for a society to be great, people must have trust in institutions such as government, our schools, our towns and cities, and all our public amenities. But based on discussions I've had with Utahns across the state, the potential for that trust is still there. And faith in state government will be restored when Amanda Young is sworn in as your next governor!

An Amanda Young administration will take a zero-tolerance stance towards corruption within all departments of state government. The former governor will continue to be investigated for his role in the cover-up of senior COVID-19 deaths, as well as people close to the governor who had pre-knowledge of his reprehensible behavior and failed to report it to the proper authorities, or were complacent in the cover-up that the governor ordered.

While that investigation continues, we will also continue to vaccinate people of all ages and work to lower cases and COVID-related deaths. But we also need Utahns to do their part, to get vaccinated, and only then can COVID "hot spots" ease restrictions and return to a state of normalcy.

I, for one, am optimistic about Utah's future. Each day, more and more people are getting their first or second vaccines, and that number will only grow throughout the year. Schools will reopen. Businesses will reopen. Restaurants will be able to operate at full capacity without need for masks or social distancing.

Amanda Young shares that optimism, and as the author of corresponding legislation to implement Frémont's vaccination plan, you can rest assured that you have a governor who's personally invested herself in fighting this pandemic. Not because it helps any party or politician, but because it's the right thing to do.

I'm going to pass the mic over to Representative Young, and you will also get a chance to hear from our candidates for statehouse. We also have tables set up for our voter registration drive, which student members of Labor's youth wing have donated their time and energy towards during this strenuous campaign.

Thank you, Bountiful! Dave bless you, Dave bless Utah, and Dave bless the Republic of Atlasia!

Orem, Utah - Utah Valley University1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor website

Good morning, Orem!

Once again, it's great to have the opportunity to speak at a university, where student volunteers are registering new voters as we speak!

According to reports, Utah is the youngest state in the country, clocking in at a median age of 31 years. That, combined with the population boom in Northern Utah and the Wasatch Front, means it cannot be overstated how much we need to invest in our young people. Through education, through renovating neighborhoods in a way that doesn't lead to unmitigated urban sprawl as we've seen in states like Virginia, and of course, through job opportunities.

I'm pleased to say that Orem, on the whole, is one of the safest cities in the country. In 2010, Forbes rated it the fifth best place to raise a family. And due to the high Mormon population in this city, Time magazine rated the Provo-Orem area as the best place to live for spiritual well-being.

Now, I understand that Orem is not necessarily a city where Labor's views on social issues are popular. Like all parties trying to compete this month, electoral success can only be possible if we nominate candidates who better reflect the values of the community and the big tent of our party. Here we've nominated two candidates for state legislature, who are outspoken in their views on life issues. Our candidate for statehouse is Elijah Love, a recent graduate of UVU, who if elected would be the first Haitian-Atlasian to win an office for state legislature. Also running is Orem City Council Member Amber Tompkins. Both these candidates are under 30, poly-sci majors, and regular citizens who want to represent Orem to the best of their ability, even if that includes diverging from the Labor Party on certain issues.

They are both devout members of the LDS Church here in Orem, and pro-life as they are, they believe that education is the most effective way of reducing the abortion rate without punishing women who are at their most vulnerable. Although I try not to wade too much into social and cultural issues at the expense of issues that directly affect Atlasians every day. And Orem has something going for it that ought to serve as a national model.

What I'm talking about, of course, is the Utah Valley Express. The Utah Valley Express, or UVX, is a commuter train that runs through much of the Wasatch Front. The Frontrunner train runs from Orem Central Station through the university and along University Parkway, through Orem's uptown near its southern boundary with Provo.

Now, you will probably agree with me when I say that UVX is most useful to cities like Orem - not old ghost towns and canyons in the desert.

[brief laughter from the audience]

Utah Labor wants to use our transportation dollars to expand these systems throughout the state based on this model, particularly in the state's fastest growing areas. As the youngest state in the country, Utah must be prepared to tackle challenges as they arise, particularly by building new schools and hiring new teachers.

And we must signal to our teachers that they are valued stewards of the next generation of Utahns, with adequate training and a living wage. While local families, and the Church, instill good moral values in its young people, so too must our schools set an example for the rest of the country by teaching basic virtues which are not tethered to any one religion or creed. From cleaning up local parks to serving one's country overseas, Utah is a state that values civic engagement. And that is especially important to the Mormon community.

Don't believe the Democratic Alliance when they tell you that me, or anyone else in Labor, are against the construction of new schools. But just as Rome wasn't built in a day, neither are new schools that are safe, stable, and serve the needs of new students - especially during a very serious pandemic that called on our nonessential workers to stay home.

Your President was kind enough to give me a tour of your university, and I am nothing short of amazed by the hospitable environment I was welcomed in. So long as great students like the kids here at Utah Valley University are leading the way, I have great confidence in the next generation of leaders.

And they share the exact same concerns about the environment they are inheriting, and the crises that might abound. Many of our students are being trained in fields to better understand the effects of climate change. And while Utah is a landlocked state, we understand that humanity fundamentally cannot be separated from nature, and that all will be affected by climate change in the coming years.

At the last Labor convention, we voted for nuclear power. I've said it once and I'll say it again: any plan for our environment that doesn't include nuclear is a nonstarter. But today's nuclear reactors are safer than they were fifty years ago, and also incredibly unlikely to result in accidents that we've seen at Three Mile Island or in Japan.

This is one issue that Labor and the Democratic Alliance agree on. Here, we follow the science. And while we understand that citizens are within their right to be concerned about the effects of nuclear power plants on their communities, we want to reach out to these communities directly before installing any new plants against the will of the people. But with all this vacant land that Utah has to offer, I believe this state is a great candidate for nuclear. And we hope to achieve that objective through education as well as investment in new plants, which will take years to build and even longer to become profitable.

But in our fight against climate change, this must be on the table. And as your governor, Amanda Young will speak directly with community leaders before signing off on any nuclear agreement. And input from constituents is always a top priority for Amanda, as well as local scientists and local leaders.

I would now like to introduce you all to Elijah Love, a Haitian immigrant who moved here with his parents at the age of four and has since proven that success in academia is possible for all people, regardless of their background, regardless of past language or cultural barriers. I can tell you that because my friend Elijah graduated from Utah Valley University summa cum laude. Labor is excited to have him with us today, and it is my honor to introduce you to his public debut as a candidate for office.

Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in giving a warm welcome to Mr. Elijah Love!

San Francisco, California1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on CA Labor Website

Good evening, San Francisco! I'm glad that I was able to finally make a stop at the 415 during this latter half of our campaign. I'm here with your mayor, Nora Chu, as we reflect on the past several months, what we've been doing, and what we're going to do moving forward.

First, while the Democratic Alliance would have you believe that Mayor Chu has done nothing in her tenure, nothing could be further from the truth! While the Democratic Alliance likes to brand itself as the transportation party, under Mayor Chu's tenure, and with the aid of the First Minister's Frémont Public Transportation Expansions/Connections Act of 2020, San Francisco's lines have been vastly expanded from Warm Springs station to Cupertino through the San Jose and Santa Clara/Mineta Airport, Antioch to Brentwood, Dublin to Livermore, Richmond to Vallejo, a second Trans-Bay tube line, running from Daly City to MacArthur, Union Square, and Alameda, among so many other expansions.

In addition, we have also completed the Central Subway extension to the San Francisco North Beach through Chinatown, and worked to add dedicated right-of-ways for MUNI Metro lines, as well as the Fort Mason streetcar project, and Dumbarton Rail Bridge and extending Caltrain from Redwood City to Fremont.

And this is just a few of the expansions of public transportation we've seen while Mayor Chu has been in power. And while it is true she is somewhat of a quiet mayor, we must dispel the notion that she simply hasn't done anything. She, like all the other Labor mayors and governors in Frémont, has been working diligently with Denver as well as members of Congress in Nyman to help deliver PRACTICAL AND EFFECTIVE infrastructure spending to the people of San Francisco. No pork barrel spending. No desert trains to nowhere.

Mayor Chu has been an effective and transparent mayor, having overseen record numbers of people in the city receive their COVID-19 vaccinations, at times even personally helping carry the vaccines herself to promote their availability.

And, as a Chinese-Atlasian herself, Mayor Chu is all too familiar with the anti-Chinese sentiment that's widespread in San Francisco as well as other cities and states throughout the country.

Mayor Chu knows this because she, herself, has seen the outside of her office vandalized, and on two occasions has had to call for police help when ignorant racists tried physically attacking and stalking her. Mayor Chu is the perfect example of a victim of sinophobia, and she knows first-hand about the dangers of wild conspiracy theories that have been making their rounds across social media.

But those aren't San Franciscan values. And racism has absolutely no place in this city, region, or country.

But to our Asian-Atlasian constituents, I can promise you this: Mayor Chu knows and shares your struggles, of combating racism in addition to the pandemic. And she's not going to stop fighting until San Franciscans of Asian descent can feel fully safe walking the streets, and as many people are vaccinated as possible so as to promote herd immunity and allow schools and businesses to reopen again.

As I've been saying all throughout our campaign in Frémont, better days are ahead. Tourism already started picking back up with the start of spring break, and this summer, our city will be fully open for business without need for masks, social distancing, or for eateries to operate at half-capacity.

We are seeing a return to normalcy and stability in San Francisco!

And our work is only beginning. While the blueprint for San Francisco's public transportation expansion is already there, Nyman is on the cusp of approving more plans for transportation with the passage of President Sestak's High Speed Rail Act.

But the opposition has been firm, and while we're confident it will pass, we need all people on Labor's House slate to vote for passage of this legislation. So call your congresspeople and tell them to vote FOR the High Speed Rail Act!!

And with that, I'll be letting Mayor Chu say a few words. But get vaccinated, and once you are fully vaccinated, you will no longer need to wear a mask or follow CDC guidelines. And the sooner enough people have been vaccinated for herd immunity to be achieved, restrictions will no longer be necessary.

So do your part, San Francisco. Get vaccinated, and reelect Mayor Chu on May 29th!

Thank you all, and good night!

Camden, New Jersey1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Greetings to the city, and to the fine people of CAMDEN!

Now I know you're all fired up right now, so tell me, who's ready for change in the Garden State!?

[audience roars]

I can't hear you!!

[audience roars even louder]

That's right! New Jersey, you've been handed a bad deal these past several months, being governed by a center-to-center left party, depending on how they feel on a given day I suppose, with milquetoast centrists and backed by neoliberals and neoliberal interests.

And while that's all well and good for the very wealthy in the state, it does nothing to solve the problems of urban poverty. It does nothing to help rebuild once-prosperous cities like Camden, and it does nothing to fix the state's broken education system. You see, while the Democratic Alliance flies over to Utah and criticizes Labor for failing to build new schools during a pandemic, Camden recently closed three public schools back in January. As a result, approximately 1,000 students will be affected.

That means bigger class sizes, and that means more pressure on our dedicated teachers. These old school buildings are falling apart, student grades have been failing, and as more of these students grow up and flee Camden for opportunities in California or Texas, the rest of the city suffers with that void of talent and contribution to the state's safety net.

My friends, we need a New Great Society for a new New Jersey!

And instead of pontificating on other regions' infrastructure while neglecting our own, New Jersey Labor will invest in Camden and other cities facing similar problems in the state.

This is not a time to get complacent, New Jersey. This is not a time to be satisfied with the milquetoast, mushy centrist leadership coming out of Trenton. No, we do not need temporary band-aids or quick fixes. We need a long-term plan here in the Garden State. We need real infrastructure. We need newer, but more importantly, better, schools. And we need results.

I've said it time and time again in my home region of Frémont that records speak louder than words. But instead we've been hearing a whole lotta rhetoric and seeing very little results! And the people of New Jersey know better. New Jersey is home to some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the country. But a great national reputation in higher education is useless when none of our students can make it in these universities.

I promise you this, New Jersey: when you elect Cory Norcross as your next governor and send him a mandate in the statehouse, Labor will set out to accomplish everything that the Democratic Alliance promised you. We'll get it done here like we got it done in Frémont. And don't let nobody tell you it can't be done. Don't let nobody tell you that cities like Camden and working-class communities can't be salvaged.

I assure you, my friends, they can. And starting next month, they will.

We're going to empower our local unions. And this is the point in my speech where I'd like to formally extend my welcome to people from the Camden Teachers Union.

We've got one of your own right here! I'll get more into that in just a second.

But the unions have a special place in our culture here in the Garden State. We fight for all working-class. Not just the white working-class, but the entire working-class. And true to its name, the Labor Party welcomes anyone and everyone who understands and values the dignity of work.

Now with me here is Mr. Darnell Sutton, a former teacher for what used to be Cramer Elementary. And just like the rest of youse, Mr. Sutton's mad as hell at the conditions of our primary schools here in Camden. Mr. Sutton understands that a person's formative years are the most important years of a person's life. A science teacher, he prepared Camden students to compete in a globalized, information-based economy. And now he's running to be your next State Representative, where he'll be a consistent advocate for the people of Camden and other cities where schools are closing and our students are under-served.

Now I'm gonna hop off and let Mr. Sutton take things from here. I'm counting on you, New Jersey. Elect Cory Norcross and Mr. Sutton as Labor's candidates for change in the Garden State. 'Cause if ya don't, you guys can bet I'll be back and next time I won't be as nice.

[audience laughter]

Dave love ya, New Jersey! Thank you!

Logan, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor Website

[State Representative Amanda Young is wrapping up her opening speech and introduces former Vice President Scott, who is greeted with thunderous applause as he enters the podium]

Thank you kindly, Amanda, for that great introduction! Isn't she great, folks? Isn't she going to make a great governor?

[audience roars again]

I know she will! Oh, I know she will!

Well, what can I say, Logan. It's been a heck of a flight to San Francisco and then to New Jersey and then back here in Utah. But I'm not tired yet! And let me tell you something, Logan: while the DA may have struck some luck in some of their states, New Jersey is not one of them.

While Eastern interests come here and lecture you about the state of our schools, they have sadly been neglecting their own. Just this past January, three public schools in Camden were closed down. The schools in Camden are falling apart. A thousand students and their families are being directly affected by this... frankly reprehensible neglect. And while our friends in the Democratic Alliance do deserve credit for raising teacher pay, the state of the public education system is still beyond atrocious. And because of those three school closures, teachers will soon be preparing themselves to take on even bigger class sizes, when they are already so overwhelmed.

I'll tell you this much: if the DA wants a state to hold up as a model of its success, it had better look elsewhere. Because what I saw in Camden was nothing short of appalling, and certainly nothing that we want replicated here in Logan.

If I can promise you one thing today, Logan, it is that we will build new schools in this city. Here in Logan, we're opening new schools - not closing them. And after we build those schools, we are going to maintain those schools and maintain them well, so that their infrastructure is always up to date, and as a result, teachers will enjoy smaller class sizes - the opposite of what is happening in New Jersey.

It's all part of Labor's plan for practical and effective infrastructure in the Beehive State. And while I can't speak for all the regions, Frémont can afford it. We can afford it with a superb, fiscally responsible First Minister leading a fully unified Commonwealth to the post-pandemic future. And no matter what the outcome after May 29th, Utah will continue to see new schools in our growing population areas, built and fully funded by your Parliament in Denver.

Once again, I am proud to be speaking to all of you, including a great number of student Labor volunteers from Utah State University, who are another proud part of our statewide effort to get as many voters registered as possible. Those of you who are not yet registered are free to sign up at any time during and for a short time after our rally today.

This election's a big deal, folks. We know what is at stake. The party that brands itself as the party of transportation has fallen short of a plan that efficiently spends your tax dollars in this state. The party that criticizes the state of the schools in our Commonwealth has failed to serve its own.

I've said it time, and time, and time again: records, not rhetoric, produce results.

The choice could never be more clear, Utah. Under Governor Young and party leadership in Salt Lake City, our state will continue to live up to its name as one of the best states to receive an education. We will continue to instill good moral values in our young people. We never acquiesce. We never quit. Here in Utah, once something is accomplished, we immediately seek out our next challenge.

This election isn't about me, it's not about Amanda Young, it's not about First Minister Truman, and it's not about the scores of Labor candidates for statehouse, both districts we are defending as well as districts we hope to pick up. It is about you, the people of Utah. The people who work every day to support their families and keep Utah up where it needs to be up in national rankings, and down where things need to be down in national rankings.

Keep fighting the good fight, Utah. I know you'll make the right choice on May 29th. I know it because you always do.

Thank you, Logan. Dave bless you, Dave bless our volunteers, Dave bless this great city and state, and, as always, may Dave continue to bless the Republic of Atlasia!

North Salt Lake, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Good evening, North Salt Lake!

You know, I gotta say, it's a shame that the Democratic Alliance - especially in Utah and in Frémont of all places, which has among the best education systems in the country - fails to give due credit for the reforms that we have made here, to make Utah and every other state in our Commonwealth national leaders in education.

As Member of Parliament, I shepherded legislation which fundamentally rethought education in the region. Thanks to the Curriculum Reform Act, all backed by Labor and opposed by the opposition, we have fundamentally rethought how and what students ought to learn. I can't help but be envious myself of what students in our high schools are going to be learning: practical hands-on skills through the teaching of current events, general business, and basic legal education.

This ensures that even students who don't go to university learn useful life skills directly outside in the classroom, in the professional world. What I like to call, 'the art of adulting'. And while this is not a novel proposal, it is the first of its kind in Atlasia, and I hope that other regions will look toward us as a model.

But I understand the fundamental issue at hand in this campaign is reducing class sizes, which, I repeat, is coming from the same party that saw three public schools close on their watch in New Jersey. The problem of overcrowded schools in New Jersey is so bad that polls show the concerned parents of the state are ready to throw the DA out of Trenton, even if they do win the Utah governorship.

But we're not gonna let that happen, are we folks?

[crowd boos]

No. No, we are certainly not.

But what bothers me most about the DA's critique of our schools is that they fail to acknowledge the circumstances of the past year. With a sufficient number of our workers having been vaccinated, new schools here are being built. They are being built by the same people employed by our new Civilian Conservation Corps. They are being built by people who are being paid a living wage - that's one point we've brought up repeatedly in this campaign that, unsurprisingly, a neoliberal party has little interest in addressing.

But the fact of the matter is that the DA has not made the case for Ben Matheson. And on education, they have simply ceded credibility on the overcrowding of schools. And if you don't believe me, you can ask the students of Cramer Elementary, Sharp Elementary, and Wiggins College Preparatory Lab School. Because those are the schools in DA-run New Jersey that will be closing at the end of this school year.

Instead of replicating DA's poor education record in New Jersey, the people of Utah are moving forward with new schools. And based on discussions I've had with the mayors of Logan and several other Utah cities slated to have new schools, these schools are being built quickly and on pace for the fall semester.

And they specifically credit Labor-backed initiatives like the new CCC for providing them the funding, workers, and resources to build these schools. And I emphasize that they are being built and completed at a time when it is safe for our workers.

Don't be fooled, Utah. Don't let yourselves be gaslighted by a party that's allowed three schools to close under its watch without explanation, and send one thousand students to be packed in tighter classrooms for the next year.

I'm now going to pass the mic on to your State Senator, Glenn Edith. While internal polling shows a close race, I know that the people of North Salt Lake are going to push him and Amanda Young over the finish line on May 29th.

Vote on results, not on rhetoric. Vote for the education party. Vote Labor.

Cedar City, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Good evening, Cedar City!

Folks, the Democratic Alliance has been selling you nothing but falsehoods. They have failed to justify their pork barrel rail projects. They have failed to explain themselves for allowing three public New Jersey schools to close. They have failed to present a case for why Utahns should ditch Labor for a party that doesn't know the state and doesn't know the region. And if elected, they will fail to take care of our schools.

Education continues to be a pressing issue, but it's not because Labor's been sitting on its thumbs. Contrast the school closures and inevitable over-packing of classrooms on their watch with the $100 billion Labor spends annually on reducing the average number of students per teacher in their schools to a ratio of 20:1 with the Horace Mann Twenty-First Century Public Education Act.

As the First Minister was telling me earlier, sometimes we get so caught up on attacking the other side for their lies that we neglect to mention our accomplishments! And that's because there's just so many to count - from passing a regional living wage to a renewed Civilian Conservation Corps to historical curriculum reform to vast increases in education spending.

But no matter the accomplishment, Labor was there for all of it. The Democratic Alliance simply was not. And they are pointing towards temporary pandemic-related interruptions of new school construction to distract from their failure to merely keep schools open in one of their own states this cycle.

It is desperate. It is disgraceful. And that's what has earned them the nickname the "Dishonest Alliance".

But even my friend, Utah Neoliberal, told the people of this state just a couple days ago that the resources for new schools are there!

What he didn't tell you, is why they are there.

But even if DA's criticism is merely that we haven't been building fast enough, they continue to conveniently forget to mention that only now are we coming out of a great pandemic - thanks in no small part to vaccine legislation introduced by Speaker Siren and corresponding legislation sponsored by Amanda Young.

No doubt that on both a federal and regional level, Labor has been leading the fight against COVID. We passed the numerous stimulus legislation. We passed a UBI to help people over the course of the pandemic. During my last term in the Senate, we revived the New Deal-era Civilian Conservation Corps, designed specifically to provide immediate public works jobs to unemployed workers as our economy emerges from the pandemic.

No matter how many pork-filled platitudes the Democratic Alliance has been selling you, the fact of the matter is that while Labor was authoring these huge initiatives to flatten the curve, invest in research, and revive our economy, the DA wrote nunnavit!

The DA had no role in making Frémont a workers' paradise where no one except for the very wealthy pay a dime to Denver. The DA had no role in ending triple-taxation. The DA just. Wasn't. There.

Now as we turn the page to this new chapter for our state and our Commonwealth, we need trusted, experienced leadership with a record of getting things done. Not neglecting public schools and letting them close in pursuit of unnecessary rail projects, but actually making a difference in the lives of the people who elected us on every level of government.

A vote for Amanda Young and a strong Labor mandate in the statehouse is a vote affirming all that we're proud to have accomplished in the last two years - including holding one of our own accountable for the trust that we and the people of Utah placed in him. We pledge nothing short of opportunity and prosperity for all and special privileges for none.

That is the Labor record. And that is why you are going to vote Labor up and down the ballot on the 29th.

To further outline her vision for our state of building on our progress, I'm pleased to introduce you to our next speaker, my friend and your next governor, Ms. Amanda Young!!

Moab, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Good afternoon, Utah!

Well, who knew that Labor investment in broadband makes such a difference? The three states with the highest rates of access to broadband, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Washington - are all states where Labor is leading the way. The states of Alaska and Hawaii have rates in the mid-80s, and as a whole, Atlasia is ranked 9th in broadband access and download speeds.

Once again Labor leadership brings not empty promises, not vague platitudes, not proposals for wasteful pork spending, but... I think you know what I'm about to say.

[members of crowd shout "Practical and effective infrastructure spending!"]

Our opponents wish to paint our small towns and rural areas of Utah as neglected. And yet it is Frémont with the second-highest access to rural broadband.

The South, where Federalists and the Democratic Alliance control most of the states, comes in last.

Once again, we see examples of Labor leadership in Nyman, in the regions, in the states, renewing our infrastructure and growing it. Expanding broadband to rural areas. Helping rural Atlasians, and especially our poorest Atlasians, find job opportunities and improve the quality of our schools.

This was especially important for Utah and other states with heavy rural communities in Frémont to educate our children during the pandemic.

When the Democratic Alliance tells you that Labor is the party of urban elites, it just isn't true. And while we reject their calls for pork barrel spending, we prefer to spend our infrastructure dollars on helping the poor and middle class. Access to broadband is a necessity in the 21st century. Technological literacy is rapidly becoming more important to succeeding in the modern economy.

But it doesn't appear that neoliberal-supported policies are helping those in the states they control. Labor, meanwhile, is expanding rural broadband. We're putting the nation on a grid of excellence and raising broadband access across the nation.

It ain't rhetoric, folks. It's a record.

It's not about building more, it's about building smart. Labor understands this, and that is why
we balance our budgets and hold states accountable on how their infrastructure money, both digital and not, is being spent. Because even in a low-tax region, or no-tax region for the vast majority except for the very wealthy, we value taxpayer dollars.

Don't let Eastern interests pit small towns and cities like Moab against cities like Salt Lake City or Ogden.

Our rural infrastructure is only growing, and it will continue to when Amanda Young is your governor - a real fiscal hawk who understands that the New Great Society must return on what it invests.

You're a smart people, Utah. You know the records. You know the difference.

Thank you, Moab!

Cherry Hill, New Jersey1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on NJ Labor Website

Good morning, Cherry Hill!

Well, today is the day. New Jerseyans have a real opportunity to change Trenton and fire the people who've let our public schools fail. Today, the people of the New Jersey will be voting on a referendum of DA policies. Right now, Labor is all but determined to make the second round, if not win with a majority outright.

And that is exactly what you are going to do. Send a message to the DA that their pork rail projects should not come at the expense of New Jersey students. Contrast the closure of those three public schools in Camden with the $100 billion Frémont spends annually on keeping class sizes at a 20:1 ratio. The difference could not be any more clear.

When you send a Labor government to Trenton, you're not going to get merely new building; you are going to get smart and practical building. And that is infrastructure we will actually pay for.

A tax-and-spend neoliberal policy might sound like a contradiction, but the Democratic Alliance simply does not spend your tax dollars responsibly. We need to build and renew our infrastructure, but we also need steady hands on the treasury. No more wasteful spending. No pork barrel, as they've proposed in Utah. But a targeted approach to boost public education and save closing schools. Even if that entails asking some of our highest earners to chip in a little more.

Let's give Labor a great momentum boost tonight and put DA policies to a referendum. Ask yourself if you are pleased with the current state of our schools. Our schools which are closing, falling apart, and failing our students. Ask yourself if this is the right path for New Jersey.

It's all up to you, New Jersey. Get out. Vote. Reject fiscally irresponsible neoliberal policies and cast a vote of confidence in the New Great Society. Vote for the party that supports working families. Vote for the party that will address the education crisis on day one. This is a critical time for the state. This is the day we send the Democratic Alliance packing and save public education in Camden and other under-served cities.

If you're a KaiserDave Laborite, if you're a Harry Truman Laborite, if you're a Sestak Laborite, if you're an OBD Laborite, if you're a Scott Laborite, join us in our fight for the working class and future generations.

Let's elect citizen legislators from working-class backgrounds of all races and creeds. Throw out the neoliberal backbenchers.

I know you can do it, New Jersey.

Thank you.

Salt Lake City, Utah1
socially-distanced, masks-mandatory event, livestreamed on UT Labor Website

WOW!

How are we feeling tonight, Salt Lake City!?

[audience roars in excitement]

I know you are, and I think I know why! Yesterday, the people in the Garden State sent a message loud and clear to the Democratic Alliance that had so sorely neglected them. The party that claims to be the party of education and transportation were fired by their state, in favor of a campaign that's running a very similar one here at home.

When the true education record of the Democratic Alliance was revealed to the public, New Jersey sent an unambiguous message of rejection in ousting their incumbent Labor governor. And the first thing they're going to do in Trenton is reverse the planned closures that started under the previous governor.

Former President Tmthforu94 even came here today to tell Utah to look at DA's record. Well, with all due respect to my good friend, I don't think comparing records is in his party's best interest here!

My other good friend, Utah Neoliberal, accuses our party of not addressing problems when, at both a state, regional, and national level, nothing could be further from the truth. We passed the Rural Health Act when the DA was nowhere to be found. We're finishing the Frémont Rail line through to Salt Lake City, and we will expand that rail to Provo as well. We did it all without asking anyone to pay a dime to Denver except the very rich, or to Salt Lake City where taxation does not exist.

Accomplishing all these things, with wise use of taxpayer dollars and no need to levy any taxes on the people who build our economy, is the Labor record here in Frémont.

The DA has since backed off on building rail through the southeast, and I'm glad that they did, because that shows a severe lack of priorities for the people who manage the tax dollars of those we ask to contribute.

So let's stay on the right path. Let's keep our schools fully funded. Let's use our transportation dollars efficiently.

Let's capitalize on the momentum generated by last night's victory, and let's elect Representative Amanda Young as your next governor!

AD: Tax Frauds
To be aired in every state and city up for election in Frémont until the election

An elderly WOMAN, clearly distressed, is at her kitchen table filing taxes. An elderly MAN, presumed to be her husband, approaches her.

MAN: Betty, Betty, Betty, what's all the fuss?

WOMAN: Tom, it's past tax season and I didn't realize we owed so much to the city, state, and Commonwealth! I'm trying to go through our records to find out how much we owe to whom, but I don't know where to look or who to ask for help!

TOM: Betty, we already paid our taxes, federally, months ago! We don't pay any state, local, or regional taxes!

BETTY: ...We don't?

TOM: No! Who the heck told you that?

BETTY: Well, I just received this flier, from the Democratic Alliance. They said they want to lower our t-

TOM: Now wait just a minute, Betty, did you say this is from the Democratic Alliance?

BETTY: Yes, Tom! They said they'll lower our tax burden, and I wanted to vote for them!

TOM: Well, what those folks at the Democratic Alliance aren't telling you is that no one pays a cent to the state or city.

BETTY: Really?

TOM: Heck no! And the only people who pay any taxes at all to Denver are the very rich.

BETTY: So that means we owe...

TOM: Not a cent.

[BETTY and TOM embrace]

NARRATOR: Don't let the Democratic Alliance trick you this May. The Labor tax rate for the working Frémonter can't be beat: zero.

Livingston, Montana1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on MT Labor Website

Well, Livingston, it sure is great that our Labor Chair is relaxing mask restrictions for our rallies. And I'm happy to be seeing a lot fewer masks in tonight's audience. Speaker Siren and First Minister's Truman plan for vaccine distribution worked, and cities and towns of all sizes are seeing the benefits!

And I'm happy to be here with my good friend, Governor Budd Fuddrucker. And yes, it's true! The Governor did get a tattoo of Montana on his back! Budd, why don't ya show us what ya got?

[Governor Fuddrucker briefly removes his shirt and shows his tattooed back to the audience. The audience chants "Governor Budd! Governor Budd!" as they glance at his new tattoo]

That is how we do it, folks! That is how we do it. But I would't expect Easterners or even Southerners to get it! It's a Montana thing.

But let's get to brass tacks. The Governor understands that oil and gas employ thousands in Montana. The Governor respects the dignity of every worker. But he's also a man who values innovation. And during the energy revolution taking place here, Governor Bud, as well as regional leadership in Nyman, has been investing in green energy jobs to compete with fossil fuels.

Even in Montana, our governor has succeeded in limiting the powers of the oil and gas industry that the Democratic Alliance has pledged their ear to. And, once again, the Democratic Alliance is lying to you about taxes. There have been no tax breaks in Montana because there are no taxes in Montana. The taxpayer does not owe a time to the local or state governments in Montana, in Wyoming, in Utah, in San Francisco, or anywhere else in Frémont.

No tax policy can compete with Labor's tax policy, because the only people who pay taxes to anyone are the very wealthy. Those are the only taxpayers in the entire Commonwealth. And we in Frémont Labor refuse to let the Democratic Alliance continue to confuse and deceive people throughout the Commonwealth.

There's no two ways about it, Livingston: with Labor, the working-class and poor enjoy a bountiful welfare state where jobs and opportunity exist for all, regardless of zipcode. With the Democratic Alliance, you get a party desperate to spout any conceivable falsehood just so they can win power and give their friends in Big Oil control over our state.

The answer could not be any clearer here in Montana. Reject alternative facts and fearmongering. Stay the course with progressive leadership that puts people first.

West Jordan, Utah1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Hello, West Jordan! I'm so glad to be here with you all on a more personal, less restricted event than we're used to. I'm very optimistic about West Jordan, and I'm very optimistic for the people of the greater Wasatch Valley.

We're building schools and we're building new rail responsibly. In Amber Young, we're voting for a governor who has transportation solutions that are realistic and are appropriate usage of the state's transportation dollars. And folks, I think this is a good opportunity to better explain how our budgetary system works, because our opponents are misrepresenting how it all really works.

First of all, no one pays a cent in tax to Salt Lake City or local government. And the vast majority of people living in Utah, along with every other state and city in Frémont, do not pay any tax even to Denver.

No matter what the Democratic Alliance's tax plans are for Utah or anywhere else up for election in Frémont, they simply cannot compete with the Labor's flat tax rate of zero.

But the Democratic Alliance has fooled thousands into thinking otherwise. They have confused the people whose votes they are trying to earn this month, and we refuse to let these falsehoods go unchallenged - especially when the evidence is in black and white! You do not pay taxes to your state or locality. If you are middle-class or below, you pay no tax anywhere to Frémont.

And yet despite this, we have kept invested in rail and spend $100 billion annually on new schools for the reduction of class sizes.

The Democratic Alliance will not tell you these things, because they weren't here for any of it. And they don't know the region they're running in or the territory they're competing in.

In this particular district, we're running against an incumbent DA Senator who has been a local manager for Ben Matheson's gubernatorial campaign. He has been nothing but a spokesman for DA falsehoods. And just like we threw out our very dishonest governor, so too will we throw out very dishonest legislators.

Martin Tsai is a local journalist for the West Jordan Journal. Honesty and integrity are in his job description, and that is what we need in Salt Lake City now more than ever.

Thank you, West Jordan! I'll now pass the mic on over to Martin.

AD: On Target
1
To be aired throughout Utah until the election

NARRATOR: This message brought to you by Friends of Amanda Young.

[A brief montage of Former Vice President SCOTT is shown tying a blindfold around State Representative and Candidate for Utah Governor AMANDA YOUNG over her safety goggles. She is shown aiming a rifle according to SCOTT's verbal direction.]

VOICE OF AMANDA YOUNG: The Democratic Alliance would have you believe that Labor is at war with itself on guns.

[The gun is fired. A bullet hole appears on a target in a tree marketed beneath the word "Accountability".]

VOICE OF AMANDA YOUNG: That the party's vision lacks a coherent policy that balances your right as a law-biding citizen to keep and bear arms...

[The gun is fired again, this time at a target in tree marketed beneath the word "Accomplishments".]

VOICE OF AMANDA YOUNG: ...with you and your family's right to be safe.

[The gun fires once more, this time at a target in a tree marketed beneath the word "Honesty". AMANDA YOUNG unties her blindfold and empties her gun. She looks at the camera.]

AMANDA YOUNG: But we know that what works for New Jersey might not work for rural Utah. We're a big tent party and we understand the needs of Atlasians all across the board. Now how's that for on-target, Scott?

[The camera pans to a satisfied Scott, sporting hunting and safety gear, giving AMANDA a big thumbs up. He looks toward the camera.]

SCOTT: That's right, Amanda, and no party knows Utah quite like Utah Labor!

[Ad closes with silent footage of SCOTT patting AMANDA YOUNG on the back and pointing at the three perfect holes.]

Coalville, Utah1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on UT Labor Website

Well, Coalville, you've seen so much of us partisans all over the state from both sides that you're probably sick of us! But with less than a week of campaigning left, we want our message to be heard in every corner of the state, in small towns and big cities, and although we're neck-and-neck with our opponents in the polls, we're campaigning in this state like we're 20 points behind and we don't plan on stopping now!

Having the opportunity to meet and greet with Coalville residents, I am reminded of my experience growing up in Connecticut, living in small towns, and that neighborly spirit that draws people to towns like Coalville in the first place. Like Coalville, my hometown has farming in its blood. And though many of our residents commute to the Valley, many have deep roots in this town and pursue careers in farming, ranching, construction, and public education.

Before Labor came into power in Denver and gave the town some much-needed stimulus, Coalville wasn't as economy prosperous as it is today. But we are not a party that caters exclusively to big cities. And once again, the record speaks for itself.

Because it was towns we had in mind just like Coalville when we passed the Rural Health Act, which our opponents in the Democratic Alliance were never there for. It was also Labor that passed the Public Education Act, more than four years ago, to keep the student-teacher ratio in Frémont public schools at or below twenty to one.

No matter how you slice it, Labor is the party of the working class. Working-class of all backgrounds, creeds, and professions. And we don't just talk about it, we put our money where our mouth is and build new schools and pay our teachers.

And we do it all without asking a cent from the Utah taxpayer except for the very, very rich. And not even the wealthiest person in Utah pays a cent to their locality or the state itself, because we eliminated triple taxation. No matter how many promises the DA makes to you, the fact remains that they cannot compete with Labor's zero-tax guarantee.

But I am concerned. The Democratic Alliance has demonstrated so much ignorance about our region, they could very well end up passing new taxes in the state in a needless effort to reduce the taxes that already don't exist!

Does that make sense to you, Coalville? Because it sure as heck doesn't to me.

But there is no place in Labor for liars or people who play number games for political expediency. We made that loud and clear by convicting our corrupt governor. Our candidate for governor, Amanda Young, helped lead that impeachment as a manager. She, along with our friends across the aisle, made a great case for immediately removing the governor.

And now she's here with me, along with our candidates for House and Senate, respectively: Hank Jones, a local rancher who was born and raised in this state, and Sheila Amber, a newly-retired public school teacher who wants to be your next senator. Both are running against DA-backed candidates as we send Amanda Young to Salt Lake City with trustworthy reinforcements who understand the needs of Utah and Coalville.

So get out there, register, and cast your ballots May 29th for Labor up and down the ballot!

Thank you very much, Coalville!

Sunset District, San Francisco1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on CA Labor Website

Hello, San Francisco! Glad to be back!

You know, it's a shame that the Democratic Alliance understates the importance of our region's tax code. Because under Labor and Mayor Chu, we've done all that is possible to ensure a business-friendly economy where landlords can more easily enter the market and expand. That includes a low-tax environment, yes, but merely saying "Build, build, build!" isn't going to make housing cheaper.

Mayor Chu, like the rest of Labor, learns from history and listens to the experts. San Francisco, like much of the rest of California, has historically had among the most restrictive rent control policies. These policies were not passed with ill intention, but they ultimately hurt the people they were intended to help: the poor, the lower-class, and the middle-class trying to make ends meet.

So what did we do in San Francisco and throughout the state? We spoke to economics and housing experts and lowered the burden that prospective landlords might face.

Because while we want landlords to play by fair rules, we understand the role they play in the economy. And we certainly want to have a diverse playing field in the housing market - not just one of the rich and powerful.

Lowering rent control was not an easy choice, and you bet it caused a lot of divides within the party here in California, but we ultimately realized it was necessary for the benefit of a long-term, cheaper housing market where competition and markets can work the way they're intended to.

And so we came together and developed a plan that would help the people of San Francisco during and after the eviction moratorium. Because once that moratorium expires, renters are going to see astoundingly lowered rates thanks to our reforms. Building will increase. Small renters will enter the market. Tenants will pay less. Everybody wins.

And although Mayor Chu is a quiet executive, she is no doubt an effective one, and she's been instrumental in implementing those reforms for the post-COVID housing economy. It just so happens that cities like San Francisco already have the benefit of zero taxes, and that also helps tenants as well as landlords.

I'm proud of what Labor has accomplished here in California. I'm proud that we put aside ideology and led the way towards pragmatic decisions that will enable the city to prosper and reduce levels of homelessness and inequality.

It's a simple matter of supply and demand. And I'm glad to have with me a mayor who understands that.

Mayor Chu, won't you come up and say a few words?

Chinatown, San Francisco1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on CA Labor Website

Hello, Chinatown! It's been quite a treat for me to take a break from my home in the Mountain West to enjoy the rich culture of San Francisco and all that it has to offer. This neighborhood is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia as well as the oldest in North America! It shines in a way that reflects the beautiful diversity of a city defined by progressives' fights for gay rights, for environmentalism, for equality, and now a cause that we need to rally all the parties around: fighting Sinophobia and all forms of anti-Asian hate.

The pandemic has presented a unique challenge to our Asian-Atlasian communities: the dual battles against the virus and against racism. Against fear. Against ignorance. Against acts of extremism and violence driven by some very dangerous individuals and conspiracy theorists spewing their bile on social media and certain radio shows and podcasts.

We stand for none of it. I stand for none of it. Mayor Chu, a Chinese-Atlasian herself, stands for none of it. And the people of Chinatown, and all over San Francisco, can rest knowing that they have a mayor who stands up to intolerance no matter where it lurks. And that's not just something we ask of our politicians. The only people who can challenge these hateful sentiments head-on is we, the people. And I am speaking specifically to those who have not been victimized for their race as a result of this pandemic.

Coupled with that challenge comes the rise in crime we've been seeing in every major city in Atlasia, and while we may be seeing what is the cathartic release brought on by a year of quarantining, Labor will not be a pushover when it comes to any type of crime. We're fully cooperating with state, regional, and federal authorities to get the drug traffickers and human smugglers off the streets. We're taking an active role against crime no matter where it springs, and no matter what the motive is. That, by all measures, includes racial hatred.

But San Francisco under Mayor Chu will continue to prevail as we tackle these challenges. We will not let this city be divided by racists and bigots, or by criminals who burglarize homes. We in the Labor Party understand that criminal justice reform does not imply neglecting enforcement of our existing laws.

And these are laws that apply to all people. No special favors to officials, elected or not. And certainly no so-called 'blue shield' for our men and women in uniform who abuse their power. But we in Labor don't believe this is a matter of over-incarceration and police brutality or high crime rates. With the numerous criminal justice reforms passed at all levels of government, the police have by most accounts a positive relationship, both with city leadership and with civilians.

Once again, I'm proud to introduce you to your mayor, Ms. Nora Chu. Nora, come on up and let's hear your vision for the next several months!

Bayview-Hunters Point, San Francisco1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on CA Labor Website

Good evening, San Francisco!

So I wanted to wrap up tonight's campaign by highlighting the great social progress we've seen for black Atlasians, particularly in neighborhoods like Bayview-Hunters Point. I'm proud of the fact that Labor passed small business loans to those struggling most during the pandemic, particularly black-owned businesses. But more importantly, we learned how black Atlasians were disproportionately impacted by the pandemic. And it was clear we had to act.

So we built new hospitals. We took lessons from history and rushed aid to poor and black neighborhoods as we were still flattening the curve. Both Sacramento and San Francisco made good use of their stimulus dollars, and that's in no small part thanks to black leadership on the city council and in state government.

This past year, there has been a great and necessary discussion on racial inequalities. But I am proud to say that, due to prior reforms passed under previous Labor governments - with bipartisan support - Atlasia sees fewer incidents of police misconduct. We've created a culture where police are held accountable like you or me. We've mandated the recording of police interactions and implemented reforms to education and training. We've done this on all levels of government, including here in San Francisco.

And that creates a culture of trust. San Francisco is a shining example of relationships between the police and the people they've sworn to protect. This has lessened the potential for riots in a year where crime saw a modest uptick due to the long quarantine. And those efforts our party and Mayor Chu led on has fostered a safe environment thanks to the increased police transparency.

And now the police we do hire, with few exceptions, are truly outstanding men and women. Because they live to serve you.

But we must not let our efforts on criminal justice reform enable crime. While riots are indeed, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. aptly described, "the language of the unheard", violent lawbreaking cannot be justified. Looting cannot be justified. No violence of any kind can or will be excused. Because to ignore crime merely creates a new class of the unheard.

Once again, I'm proud to introduce your mayor, Nora Chu. Thank you, San Francisco!

Cheyenne, Wyoming1
limited-capacity event; masks mandatory for unvaccinated attendees, recommended for those with proof of vaccination - livestreamed on WY Labor Website

As our campaign rapidly comes to a close on this last day of regular campaigning, I am pleased to be here for my last visit to the state to campaign with Wynona Thomas and Labor candidates for statehouse.

Coming back once more to speak to my home state is the least I can do for the place that gave me my start in Frémont. To a state that is unlike any other. To a state where the virtues of self-reliance and giving back go hand-in-hand. Because even in a state as large as Wyoming, no man, or woman, is an island.

Our state's crown jewel is Yellowstone National Park, which just might be the crown jewel of such a geographically diverse region in its all its natural beauty. It is parks like Yellowstone that we keep in the hands of the people. It is not merely a racket for tourism, it is a symbol of Frémont and to all who love the outdoors. To hunters, sportsmen, hikers, bikers, fishers, farmers, ranchers.

It is a state where we kept our parks open to families to camp in a socially distant environment at the height of the pandemic. It is a state where we balanced the interests of our fossil fuel workers, with the investments we're making in renewable energy and transportation. Because in Atlasia, a future with renewable energy and increased standards of life without Wyoming, is no future at all.

But you, the people of the Equality State, will vote to reelect the party that enables the state to live up to its name, as well as a fundamental tenet of conservatism that the special interests have perverted for material gain: I speak, of course, of conservation itself.

The Thomas administration and Labor government at the Capitol will continue to protect our wild lands and our stewards of the earth. We will resist attempts to restrict responsible gun ownership for law-abiding citizens, just as we will resist attempts to privatize public lands or give free rein to the fossil fuels industry.

That is a promise we have kept, and the overwhelming majority of Wyomingites support.

And so I continue to urge the people to fight for what's right. Fight for candidates who will conserve our values, our tradition, our heritage, our home. Register to vote if you haven't, and voice your confidence in Wynona Thomas on the 29th.

I look very much forward to being with you all again at the official state watch party as we watch the results trickle in.

Dave bless all of you, Dave bless the State of Wyoming, Dave bless the great Commonwealth of Frémont, and Dave bless the Republic of Atlasia!!!
