Technically we could just do $1,400 checks which add up to $2,000 when combined with the $600 that is currently going out. I think that is what Biden was proposing, actually.
Not good enough! Like someone else said, we can get Collins/Murkowski/Hawley to vote for it.

Several Republicans supported it, though? Like Hawley and Rubio? Hopefully they keep their word, although with Trump on his way out they might not care anymore.
Maybe tell Hawley we will drop this talk of expelling him if he keeps his promise on the checks.
