Fundamentally, this doesn't make sense.
1. There were no women on SCOTUS in 1973. There are 3 now and 1 of them provided the decisive vote in favor of the full overturn.
2. More women than men have voted in every presidential election since 1984, covering the appointment of all current SCOTUS justices.
3. Women outvote men more dramatically in Southern states than they do nationwide.
Just doesn't make sense at any level of how this was decided!
The only thing that makes sense is the pendulum swinging back the other way. The pendulum always swings one way, then the other since time immemorial. Now the
anti-women's health and well-being group is in the hot seat and they will have to defend what they've done. Let them be the defenders of all the problems that this ruling will cause going forward.
The
anti-women's health and well-being group has their work cut out for them since the majority of the population is pro-women's choice on the issue of abortion. God does not rule our country, and controlling women's bodies is not going to work for very long. Too many women have a voice now, and a vote.
The
anti-women's health and well-being group's stance on abortion is doomed from the start, even though they think they are just getting started. More rational minds will prevail in time.
