Every law should expire after ten years, and have to be repassed by the legislature.

I like the two thirds idea, but I think it should have to be introduced as permanent legislation in order to do that. Just the fact that it was passed by a two thirds majority shouldn't make it permanent; legislators shouldn't have to "strategically" vote on a bill to keep it from being permanent if they think it should only last 10 years.
