There is a concern that certain devout portions of their population might push back progress on women's rights and gay rights. I, myself, would not want to see women being shackled into their homes and being forced to wear restrictive clothing. I wouldn't want to see gay marriage and protections be rolled back. I want to be able to walk into Subway and get a ham sandwich (something increasingly difficult in places like the UK). I don't want our cities to turn into the no-go zones of Stockholm or Bradford, or Copenhagen.


...and I wouldn't want Christians pulling that crap either.

The whole thing is Islamophobic, but the ham sandwich part raises it to another level.

Wanting to eat pork (something people cannot accuse me of, btw) is Islamophobic? Okay.

I haven't seen much activity from Goodman lately, so not surprised he swung to the right. Point is that most of those above commentators have engaged in online left bashing that's been common since the 2016 election. Just to be clear, as much as I steel clear of Bernie Sanders he's nowhere the vitriol of the surrounded group of people cited.

2-Cite? Because there's no predominately white terrorist group even close to the death toll of ISIS, or the death toll of 9/11.

I made an error there, but still, white terrorists don't kill as much because they're targeting vulnerable groups, whereas muslim terrorists kill more in one because they target those that aren't minorities too(and they know how to do this s**t). Also the fatality count of muslim terrorists is barely higher.

This comment would not be tolerated if it were about a kid bullied for carrying his Bible to school and the author speculated that LGBT groups were celebrating.

What THIS Evangelical Christian would note is that the child is nine (9) years old, under the Biblical age of responsibility.  My Bible tells me that this tragic child is now in Heaven, with Jesus forever, never to suffer again, because of the price Jesus paid on Calvary.

What I WOULD wonder is why a 9 year old would be in this position?  How did a child like this get to be someone who "knew" they were "gay" at an age where they're not supposed to know about sex?You'll forgive me for skepticism of the "I just knew when I was 9 . . . " argument (although I don't deny the sincerity of those sharing those accounts).  Maybe I'm missing something, but this sort of thing (a 9 year old committing suicide over being bullied for "being gay") is something that I'm not going to just take at face value.  This isn't something that just happens every day.  Kids can be cruel, and taunts can be damaging to a 9 year old, and kids do taunt kids in the manner described.  It's the idea of a 9 year old "knowing" he's gay and an age where he shouldn't be thinking about sex that doesn't compute with me.

Context: a nine year old boy committing suicide for being gay.

The left-wing position on this: It's sad he's dead. People shouldn't have made fun of him for being gay.

The right-wing position on this: It's sad he's dead. His parents shouldn't have molested him. It's also messed up that the media will help them cover up their crimes because they came up with an excuse that furthers the PC narrative.

Literally no one is happy that this kid is dead though. It's a tragedy no matter what your political views.

You Know what, If the poor actually made an effort to work hard, then Government would help them, but the problem is they don’t. It is rich people who are doing all the work, Rich people who are pushing our nation forward rich people who are the reason we have all our merchandise. The poor just cannot accept that they went wrong in life, so, what do they do? They beg for money, food, housing and expect that government just give it to them and no matter what they get, they are still ungreatful. Rich people, on the other hand realize that government is not totally Responsible for them so as a result they start working for themselves and look at were they are at, they are the developers of our economy. you were part of the government, which group would you like better.
