The question I have is, will these last 6 months be filled mostly with a bitter primary battle or will we be able to spend most of these last 6 months with a muddy general election?
Remember, Denver is still a bit more than 3 1/2 months from now.
I believe that once the primaries wrap up one month from tomorrow, that the superdelegates will realize that there are no more primaries and go ahead and move to one side or the other, presumably Obama's side, and then the nominee will be known by July 4. We may not have to wait for Clinton to drop out, as Obama CAN clinch if the supers go his way in the numbers he needs. I just hope that once Obama is known as the nominee that Clinton will bow out as gracefully as Huckabee did when McCain became the presumptive nominee. (I would hope that if Obama ends up on the losing end of this, too. I'm just naming the most likely scenario, as I see it). Somehow, though, I don't see her bowing out as gracefully as the Huckster.
