     Also Trump is not Mondale. Mondale probably wasn't that unelectable on his own; he just faced a political juggernaut.

My point is, Trump has about as much chance to win it all in '12 as Mondale had of winning it all in '84.

Oh, I get it.  For a moment, I was wondering what the correlation between Trump '12 and Mondale '84 was.  But, yeah, I totally agree with you.
