There may be an anti-establishment wave in America, and maybe Democrats could win a general election with a non-politician candidate. But that doesn't pave the way for every activist with a Twitter profile, 100k followers and a hot take to run for president.

Donald Trump may not have been a politician, but he wasn't anything close to an activist. He had a pretty detailed background, a lot of success in the media and a pretty powerful (albeit not entirely successful) real estate empire. There's a big difference between someone like him and Jesse Williams or Mark Ruffalo.
