physics:
high school - B+ ; taught by a nigerian who moved to canada and made the trip to boston from toronto every morning ($500 daily travel expenses paid). was allowed one page of equations and formulas to look at during tests/quizzes - never made one. graded on functionality and accuracy of motors, catapult, a spectrometer, etc., all of which we had to build (ugh)
college - A ; easy and enjoyable

chemistry:
high school - A- ; thank goodness the albanian substitute who studied in moscow took over for the intolerable pole, who got pregnant. loved the experiments.
haven't taken chemistry in college

note: my (public) high school had a $13mil budget
