If anything, when this blows over as political malpractice by the FBI, this will motivate people to vote even more.

That won't happen before Nov. 8 though.

It will.

E-mails are not from Clinton, which means this is a huge nothingburger.

This was a wakeup call for those who got complacent. Heading out to volunteer soon. I'm fired up now because this pissed me off!

Thanks Comey for reminding us not to get too comfortable. Volunteering twice as much now thanks to your nothingburger attempt at kingmaking. Let's take it to the finish line!

Kurt Eichenwald ‏@kurteichenwald 7m7 minutes ago

Details of FBI: They found 3 emails that "might" be relevant to the case. None of them were withheld by Clinton.

Now this looks like it's politically motivated. Could this actually end up helping HRC? I think so.

WTF, did not see that coming.

Figured it would be from some investigation of Wikileaks/Podesta/DNC or the like.  But from the Wiener investigation?

This has actually pissed me off. I'm now a full-hearted Clinton supporter. This kind of bullsh**t is asinine. We're better than this. Comey should resign and issue an apology for his staggeringly unprofessional and reckless behavior.

This is a mix of relief and pissed off beyond belief. Relief because it looks like this all about nothing, and pissed off for that very same reason.

Yep. VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!

Either the Clinton team has hard evidence of Trump committing a crime or this is over.  I'm serious.

E-mails that didn't come from her, had nothing to do with her server, had nothing to do with any sensitive information, and a letter was sent out with no evidence to back it up 11 days before an election, indicating political expediency more than any investigative integrity. Lastly, she called him out on it. You are seriously missing what's going on for you to say that.

You're kidding me.

Do you love drama or something?

i am just cynical.

atm there is no reasonable scandal. maybe something comes out of this (unlikely) but the main reason anybody argues right now that this could hurt clinton, is not the absolutely far-fetched indiction....but the political armageddon of this EVEN TAKING PLACE.

the right-wing today didn't celebrate cause comey would lock her up - but because reminding everyone of the email thingie and on-going investigation stuff kind of "deletes" her "get free card" in a mental way.

this was PR-assassination without any reason and even enforced by chaffetz.....totally useless but still harmful.

that's why i say it's a scandal...it it seen as a scandal even while there is nothing to it.

This is what really has me livid, literally seething mad.

#40, that's pretty far down the list, and it had a sharp downward trend.

Do you think there is good chance that Comey will resign?

If not, he's obligated to do some sort of presser, right?

I don't care for a presser or an apology at this point. I want a RESIGNATION. He deserves no less.

Not to be a constant prophet of doom, but... the people who might be swayed by this story don't read HuffPost.

Show me what the networks are saying, and I'll tell you if I'm worried or not.

No emails being examined by FBI were to or from Clinton. All of this has to do with procedures followed by an aide.

Imminent bump from angry voters incoming.

Honestly how on Earth is this even a scandal? This is basically what I understand:

-FBI investigates Weiner.
-FBI finds more emails between Hillary and Huma on it.
-The emails had nothing to do with her private email server.

So basically the scandal is...Hillary sent some emails to someone who worked for her who happened to be married to a perverted guy?
No, the scandal is that Huma was under subpoena, failed to disclose this device and release e-mails between herself and Hillary Clinton as required under that subpoena. Her creepy husband gets busted for sexting with an underage girl, the NY FBI, who is investigating Weiner, unearths these e-mails. The DC FBI is obligated to investigate.

That's a scandal for Huma, not Hillary. Anything else is outright disingenuous and what Comey did was completely out of lines.

Over 1000 posts in 12 hours for something that is supposedly no big deal, according to many Democrats?  I'm flipping Wisconsin in my prediction map and flipping the election to Trump.  I had lost all hope a week or two ago, but this news was nothing short of the miracle that may save America (and, of course, millions of American babies)!

Now, more than ever, is the time to go out and vote like never before and bring friends along. Volunteer; knock on doors; phone bank. We will pull through from this ridiculousness in the end.

How long until Comey actually clarifies and addresses this so that it may be put to rest? Or is he planning on just surfing through election day on ambiguity and unprofessional behavior?
