Nearly 25% of the vote is in, and Deeds still has more than 50% of ballots cast.

Okay, now I'm ready to say... It's over. Deeds wins.

I will declare victory when 50% of the vote is in, and it still shows Deeds with a commanding lead over his rivals.

I am trying desperately to avoid 'counting my chickens before they hatch'...

It's Deeds vs. McDonnell, folks.

Unbelievable -nearly 60% of the vote is in, and Deeds still is winning over 50% of it.

I hope Moran pulls it out for second place.

I'm with you -I would like nothing better than to have McAuliffe humiliated by not just failing to win the nomination, but in coming in dead last as well.

Moran is about to lose his brother's congressional seat.

Though it doesn't mean that he won't win it later on if and when Big Jim decides to retire...
