the GOP should stand by him, and continue to have him as majority leader, better yet, House Speaker.  the longer he stays, the more damage he does to the GOP and the conservative movement as a whole as long as he remains high-profile...and that is a prospect i relish.  hopefully they will place loyalty above political expedience, as they are wont to do.   

no, he should NOT step down under any circumstances.  he should stick to his guns, and hopefully bring everyone else on the Right down with him.
