Yes he should, even though the longer he stays, the more he'll probably help the Democratic party.

Yes, if you care about the integrity of the House. No, if you want him to do electoral damage to the GOP

I'd subscribe to the former

the GOP should stand by him, and continue to have him as majority leader, better yet, House Speaker.  the longer he stays, the more damage he does to the GOP and the conservative movement as a whole as long as he remains high-profile...and that is a prospect i relish.  hopefully they will place loyalty above political expedience, as they are wont to do.

no, he should NOT step down under any circumstances.  he should stick to his guns, and hopefully bring everyone else on the Right down with him.

Why is it that you don't hear about this much on the news?  I haven't heard about it once; get all my info from dailykos.

You don't watch the right news I guess. O'Reilly has been covering it pretty much non stop since the Russia scandal broke.

I think DeLay should step down, but only if a PA rep gets a leadership position.

Whos next in line?

Roy Blunt is Whip and Deborah Pryce is Conference Chairman.  Course, they could promote from elsewhere and pick someone like Curt Weldon, Sensenbrenner, Hyde, etc.

I'd love to see a PA Rep. in the House leadership but that shouldn't be the only situation where you'd support DeLay stepping down. He really is an embarrassment.

Yeah, I don't think he's done anything wrong, but he's hurting our electoral chances by continuing along.

I dont want him to go as he is bad for the Republican party.

Dems should want him to stay as it will hurt the santorum bid as hes already trying to kiss the pa voters.

Expulsion and impeachment are both possible. For the Senate, it would be useless. For the House, a mere majority could impeach him, and then a supermajority in the Senate could convict him.

Article II, Section 4.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Tom Delay is a terrible person who should be impeached.

Members of Congress can not be impeached. They can however, be expelled by a 2/3 majority of their colleauges.

Whoops. That's what I meant, sorry.
