Question: Where do we go?
#1
Abortion goes the way SSM goes. There becomes universal acceptance of personhood laws or at least personhood-lite because people who were once only personally against abortion see there is no "laws against laws".

#2
Things will just automatically reset in 1972. States that have left their bans in place will continue to do so and states that have repealed will keep them repealed. It will be illegal in most states, but will slowly be liberalized.

#3
It will be really bad for everyone at first, but most states voting for Hillary will follow Roe, most Trump states will keep the ban, and maybe some Obama-Trump states will have it dealt with on a case by case basis. We will have a map, like we do with Ri

#4
Same as above, but abortion will be litigated in elections and legislative sessions again and again for years, if not decades, in many places.

#5
Eventually most places will push to the center and become "Pro-Voice" where abortion will be decided on a case by case basis.

#6
Eventually Roe soon gets replaced as soon as we get a D trifecta back, even if its only for the first couple a weeks the pregnancy is discovered or should have been discovered.

Roe vs Wade is very unlikely to be over-turned. Roberts is a Sure shot vote for Roe vs Wade which makes it 5 (with the 4 Liberal judges). I can see Gorsuch, Thomas & even Alito voting to over-turn but not Roberts.

Yet, when people like me say that we have to end murder at all costs (and that the ends justify the nonviolent means), we get ridiculed and shamed.

Just because you are expected to act a certain way if you believe a certain something doesn't necessarily mean anyone has to think your belief(s) are correct.

Like, if you think it's murder, then yes I would expect you to truly act like murder is being committed, but at the same time, I 1000000% do not believe it is murder nor do I even agree with you on when human life truly begins. So of course I'm going to think you're being ridiculous.

And to add to that, so much concern about fetuses? What about people who are alive? Millions of Iraqis killed in the war or US soldiers killed? Or people pushed into death due to healthcare issues?

It is highly selective to take a fetus inside a woman's womb without even full body parts being formed & talk about murder & look the other way & to war-monger around !

The atmosphere will become as if it is a civil war if Roe vs Wade is repealed & if there is a "total ban of abortions" as some-people here ask for. Tempers will flare up, there will possibly be violence in rallies & marches, I can see deaths happening, conservatives killed in a liberal rally, atheists groups attacking churches, Right wingers conducting raid on illegal clinics, Planned Parenthood being attacked & so on.

I also see many women dying in illegal unsafe abortion clinics. Frankly, I don't know how can civilized people in the 21st century demand a ban of abortions, most of civilized Western countries have gone pass the abortion debate (it is settled now). Crazy religious nutjobs semi-Christian Taliban type people !
