I'd like to see what the Brandeis/Warren world looks like first before proceeding to Debs/Sanders-land.
Both will take us to that stop first if we can ever make it there from our current right-wing laissez faire hellscape, so it doesn't matter really who you vote for now as we are so far from both.
Based on history, it’d take us to the relative pleasantness of the post-WII era before the elite get sick of making compromises and pursue their right-wing agenda again, which will, in time, give rise to radicalism in politics and social life, then a revolutionary or near-revolutionary crisis that brings about a restabilization of society under regulated capitalism with social democratic elements. Rinse and repeat.
