The question is, does Strange win the primary? I can see someone younger who is not connected to Bentley run on:
1. The corrupt nature of the appointment
2. Able to build far more seniority in the future to make up for lost clout (remember: Alabama loves this and they really depend on it)

Republicans aren't going to lose this race, but I could see Democrats coming within 7-10 points of winning if Strange is the nominee. Moore would also underperform, but I think he would win by 8-12 in the end. Brooks is the most electable Republican, he would win by 15-20 IMO.

Lean/Likely R with Strange or Moore, Likely/Safe R with Brooks.

Not that Strange isn't scandalous, but how would he underperform Moore?

Because Strange is the embodiment of the corrupt (Washington) establishment and we could see very depressed Republican turnout if he is the nominee. Trump has said far worse things than Roy Moore, and he won AL by 28 points. Moore would energize the GOP base more than Strange, and Democratic turnout will be high anyway because it's a special election.
Not just the Washington establishment, but the Montgomery, AL establishment as well.

Good. I hope the runoff is Moore vs. Broks. Strange is so corrupt.

I think maybe Trump wants Moore in the seat, but decided to endorse Strange so that it would be a Moore v. Strange runoff. I think Brooks would have narrowly beat Moore, but Moore beats Strange. I actually had that thought earlier this month. But just a thought.

Uuuggghhh. I hope this doesn't help him. He needs to go. I hope the voters still remember the shady circumstances of the appointment.

Not a word has been said about this on any local news station tonight.

I would actually like to see audio of it.  I wonder if this site has an agenda and is mis-representing something or changing the context (since we don't actually see him ever mention execution in the OP).
FWIW, Bret Baier mentioned Roy Moore on Special Report earlier today, and didn't mention this at all. All that story talked about was his popularity in Alabama and how well he's been doing despite conventional wisdom and Strange's establishment support.

Trump himself is a unique blend of issues (illegal immigration, anti-elitism, relatively political independence) that I don't think will be easily replicated by a local candidate or represented by "Trumpism".

Moore will probably end up winning here. No more polls since the 10+ Moore leads show there's probably not much commotion for Jones.
Trump is the most elitist anti-working class president in history. He won't do anything to save jobs. He will also try to privatize Medicare and Social Security, which he campaigned on opposing. He will also hurt the coal mining industry by cutting a program that helps coal miners.
You have gone full Alt-Left ERM64man. I think his tax plan should be helpful to the middle class; it raises the standard deduction, eliminates loopholes, simplifies it to make it easy to fill out, and cuts corporate tax rates so money is repatriated and companies can invest in jobs. If they get taxes done by the end of the year, it'll help Trump. I don't think he'll attack Medicare and SS, and he's doing good stuff for the coal miners. Just get a socialist avatar already, you troll.
